July 30th

Never even in my wildest dreams would I have thought that something like this would have happened. I never thought that my vacation will turn out to be more stressful than my everyday life. No... I'd rather live my most stressful day hundred times over than experience this hell-hole. Ha, even when it's all ending, I'm being cliché – writing my last entry in diary. Who would have thought... Anyway, I promised to write here no matter what so I might as well write everything.

I guess I could say that it all started on July 1st. I just got my vacation time and I made sure that I will sleep in that day as much as I can. It was going fine until I got a message from my friend Hoseok. He always finds some random but nice places to chill and this was no exception, so...

...so Jimin went to the cafe that Hoseok had found. It was located in the quiet part of the city, more or less described as the perfect spot for hipsters with old record stores, peaceful cafes and vintage stores. It was nice there, no one bothered anyone there. Jimin got inside the café and went straight up to the table where Hoseok sat.

"Hey, Jimin. Got you your favorite with extra caramel because you can start eating sweets again." Hoseok said and held out Jimin's drink. All the caramel from his caramel macchiato was now at the bottom of the cup but he didn't complain. Hoseok watched as Jimin drank his coffee with curious eyes.

"Alright, Hoseok. What do you want? I mean, thanks for the free drink but I know you want something." A smirk grew on Hoseok's face. His best friend always knew him the best.

"Very well. Ah, some time ago I stumbled upon a list of ten weirdest hotels. I'll be honest with you, some of them were so damn weird that I considered them borderline creepy," at this he shivered, remembering some of the inside looks of the hotels "and there I saw it. A hotel which we could go to. I'm free, you're free, and so I see no valuable excuse why we shouldn't or couldn't go." Hoseok completed his little request with a happy grin and Jimin just looked at him in disbelief. He just wanted to sleep and binge watch his favorite movies and dramas, maybe learn something new to cook, not go to a creepy old hotel and hope that it's not haunted or something.

He didn't try to hide his displeasure. "Why would I want to spend my free time with you in a hotel that could be, for all we know, haunted?" he quirked his eyebrow.

"It wouldn't be fun if it wasn't." Hoseok mimicked his friend's expression with a smirk. "Plus, I, Jung Hoseok, will buy you any coffee you want for the whole trip and I will cover the hotel's expenses. So, you're in?" The longer Jimin looked at him, the bigger became the pout and puppy dog eyes from Hoseok. And Jimin really couldn't say no to his friend looking like that.

He cursed himself for agreeing with this. "Fine, I'll go," he saw as his friend started bouncing in his seat "but I will want coffee every day we will stay there. Also, for how long will we stay there?"

"For a month starting from this Saturday," it's Thursday already and he had planned it beforehand "and we will have to write everything we think about the experience so we could compare it later." Hoseok looked so excited that Jimin smiled a little while finishing his coffee.

It was already dark when Jimin got home. Once again he was reminded how lonely he actually felt there. Feeling extra tired from meeting his friend at the cafe and going shopping after that, he didn't waste time and decided to take a nice bath and just go to bed.

He went to the bathroom and made a warm bath, putting one of his favorite bath bombs in. The water soon colored nicely with strawberry scent filling the small place. He remembered the first time he got this bomb as a birthday present and since then he had never stopped using it. Once he was satisfied with the amount of water that filled the bath, he stripped and got in. It was warm and nice, helping him relax immediately.

He let his thoughts run wild.

What kind of hotel did Hoseok choose? It wouldn't be that bad, would it? It wouldn't, it was Hoseok, he liked that tingly sensation from creepy stuff but he could get easily scared.

Where it would be located? Probably in a small town.

Was it going to be packed with people? It should be, considering the fact that this hotel was put in a list.

He should ask Hoseok more about it later. When the water went cold, Jimin took a shower and went to bed.

Jimin woke up to a loud banging at the door. He wanted to make a move but as he decided to move the blanket, he saw that the room he had woken up in was slightly different than his bedroom. The wallpaper was now white with blue ornaments and there was also balcony that was open and the white curtains were dancing a slow dance with the wind and the night time. Near his bed was now a black couch. His thoughts started racing back and forth, different scenarios plaguing his mind. Was he still dreaming? Probably. He could have sleepwalked, couldn't he? No, none of the other rooms in his apartment looked like this. Should he go and answer the door? But this isn't his room. He was still frozen in his spot when the banging stopped.

"Ah, about time. So noisy. Some seriously don't understand when it's good time to go and bother someone." To say that Jimin was surprised was an understatement. He was beyond scared now.

The owner of the voice came in view from the open balcony. It was still dark, but Jimin would recognize that face and that boy anywhere. The same boy he deeply cared about and loved. The same boy that loved Jimin. The same boy Jimin lost two years ago. The same boy who went missing. Silently tears started to flow down. Now Jimin was sure that he was dreaming. There was no way that his boyfriend that went missing would ever stand in front of him. Heck, he didn't even wake up in his own bedroom!

The boy looked at Jimin and frowned. "Oh, no. Jimin, don't cry." He went up to Jimin and cupped his face, trying to stop the flow of tears with his thumbs. But the gentle touch only made Jimin cry even more. He felt his lover's touch after two year separation, he couldn't help but cry harder. Even if it wasn't real, Jimin never wanted to wake up again. Seeing that Jimin won't stop crying anytime soon, Yoongi hugged him and slowly stroked his hair.

"Y-yoongi.." the boy's name was the only thing coming out of Jimin's mouth as he was rocked back and forth. Jimin always thought what would it feel like if they ever meet again, he never lost the hope of finding his boyfriend but as the time went the chance of actually finding him became thinner and thinner. So now, both of them lying down on the bed, he took in as much as he could. Jimin really didn't want to fall asleep but this unplanned meeting was taking its drain.

"Sleep, Jimin. You need it." Had Yoongi's voice always been this soft? Jimin couldn't waste this moment and not ask if he will ever see him again.

"Jimin, baby, we will meet soon." he kissed Jimin's forehead.

Jimin closed his eyes. "You promise?" He didn't want to feel the loss again.

"I promise. I never went too far away." with that Jimin fell asleep once again.
