A/N: Picture is Luna

Luna sighed getting ready for a new school in the middle of nowhere. Her mother found a job here and finally believed that they might end up staying there for over 6 months this time.

All she could hope for is that she can make at least a friend at the new school so she wouldn't be lonely she can't recall ever having a friend because of her lack of sight.

"Mom! How big is the basement of the house?" Luna asked unpacking the stuff in her room trying her best to put stuff in the right places while feeling for clothes to wear while her mother worked on organizing the kitchen.

"Sweetie, I made sure it will be able to keep you in during the full moon if you lose control again but unless you do what you did last time you'll be fine." Her mother replied and continued to organise.

Turning into her other form or using her powers was very tempting because in her other form she can see, she can also slightly see things when she is using her powers. She wished she was normal.

Finding clothes and grabbing her white cane she located the bathroom and got dressed. Her eyes started to glow making her see herself getting changed, not messing that up too.

Luna's eyes stopped glowing and she felt a little light headed. That's what happens when she uses her power in a way it is not meant to be used, back to looking at nothing but darkness.

"Luna, I'm leaving now if you want a ride to school." Vanessa called. Of course, she wanted a ride, this whole town is new to her so if she walked she would surely get lost.

Luna quickly grabbed her white cane and found her school bag, where she left it on the ground last night. This school should be a lot easier to get to know since it's much smaller than her old school, a school of only 600 students was awaiting her. She would possibly be the only blind student there, which could be quite bad.

"Okay, I'm ready to go." Luna said entering the kitchen. Her mother held her hand and she followed her mom to the car, opening the door and got in, she closed it herself. Luna has been the new girl a lot in her life but every single time she is nervous to meet the new people.

-------------------------

Chase was standing by the school gate greeting the returning students, he was part of the student council so it was pretty much part of his job. His brother was on the other side of the gate doing the same thing.

An unfamiliar car pulled up to the sidewalk and when the doors open I could hear my brother's growl. Calm down, Josef. He said in a thought transfer to his brother he definitely sensed it too. The scent coming from the girl, as her back faced him was different, kind of like their own sent with a little bit of a difference.

He watched as she took out a white cane, he was surprised wondering if he was imagining it. A blind kid at this school? She must be faking it. Let's just act normal Josef. Chase sent another thought and put on his usual welcome smile.

Using his super hearing he could hear the girl's mother greet her farewell just like a normal parent. He smiled and shook the girl's hand, he suddenly felt sorry because she didn't see him grabbing for her hand to shake.

"Forgive me." He said as kindly as possible. "Welcome to Carlmon High." Chase heard her say a very quiet "thank you" when she walked past. Brother, I'm keeping an eye on her. Chase heard his brother's projected thought.

Chase just shrugged and continued to greet people but he knew he was going to have to tell the pack that there was a stray at the school. He still couldn't understand why she smelt so different.

If she knew what the boys were she didn't show it, unless she actually doesn't know what they are. She seemed so normal to Chase that he seems to think he was just imagining things.

--------------------------

Luna stood in line for her first class but the bell wasn't due to ring in about 5 minutes. She didn't really have much else to do since she was new, plus who would want to be friends with a blind girl.

She was afraid, she didn't want to get bullied again because of something she was born with. Being called a blind mole rat isn't a great nickname. She was deep in thought when the bell rang, snapping her out of it.
