Robin's thoughts

Narrator

"Dialogue"

Sometimes in your life good things happened by chance and it's only up to you if you take advantage of this or not. I've lost... a lot. I've made more mistakes than I can even count. But... there's one light in my life. The only person which can always make me happy; cheer me up. Her simple smile is all I need to recover from the worst kind of wounds. Nothing compares to her. She's the purpose of my life, the reason why I'm still fighting; why I still want to live. She's... my Star. I really want to confess my feelings to her, but still... there's so many doubts. What if someone could use our relations against me? What if someone would hurt her... to hurt me. I can't let it happen. But my biggest doubt is... if she even feels the same way. Sometimes I could bet that she seems to want me to be more but then again... so many doubts. I don't wanna hurt her.

Robin stood up and walked to the big mirror on the wall. He looked at himself and took off his mask.

"I don't even know who I am."

He said bending his head down. It was an early morning so Boy Wonder decided to go on the rooftop to watch the sunrise. It's always calming him down. At least... a little. He sat on the edge of the tower and stared deeply in the sky. The chaos in his mind was slowly disappearing when suddenly something fell out of his pocket. It was a little photo with him and Starfire. Suddenly all the memories overwhelmed him.

I remember this, like it was just yesterday. Me and Star spent all day with each other. That was wonderful... And I'm still keeping this photo close since that day. This is my the most valuable souvenir, except of memories of course.

"I think I'll keep it for the rest of my life." He said loudly.

"Keep what?" Robin numbed with fear hearing Starifre's voice from behind. In a few seconds he put the photo back to his pocket and turned around to see his love interest still in her pajama.

"Nothing, I just... I was wondering about some Batman's lessons." He replied nervously.

"But, are you sure that everything is alright? You seem to be bother of something." Her worried tone made Robin feel awful.

"I'm fine Star. I'm still sleepy, that's all." Robin assured her calmly.

"Okay, so... now, when I have finally found you, can I count on your company in preparing a breakfast?" She asked him sweetly. The boy just couldn't refuse to her and followed the girl to the kitchen.

DURING THE BREAKFAST

Only me and her. Alone. And this awkward silence. Just... focus sight on the meal. Every time seeing her alone and face to face is making me smiling like a stupid. This isn't easy to don't look... Especially when she's so beautiful... and her shining emerald eyes... Focus! Focus on the meal. Focus on the meal. Focus on the meal. Focus on the meal. Wait! What was that? Did she just sigh? What is that mean? I know! Shit... Stupid! She's boring, or... or something's wrong, or, or...

"Robin?" Starfire finally asked breaking the silence.

Why am I blushing? Did she notice? Oh no... Okay, calm down. Wait. Why she didn't eat anything? And I didn't notice... She certainly worried about something.

"Yes Star? Is something wrong?" He replied as calmly as he could.

"What... What was that lesson?"
