Starting Of An Ending

The Beginning

The sun ray falls on the bed,where two girls were sleeping.Both of them looked so peaceful.Just then their mother called out "Radhika,Maha...jalthi utona"from downstairs.

Their father said "Ragini,it's Sunday.Let them sleep."

"No Laksh.You are pampering them too much."Ragini told her husband while serving him tea.Just then Swara came."Ya Laksh.I agree it's Sunday but girls have to wake up early na."

Laksh looked from his wife to his sister-in-law."Swara,is this you speaking?I remember,when you were their age,you used to wake up really late"Laksh said in a mocking tone.

The rest of the family were arriving at the dining table.The three of them,took blessings from the elders.As usual Durgaprasad Maheswari sat at his place,waiting for the others to settle.Sujatha was about to ask for her grandaughters when she saw them coming down the stairs.

Everyone smiled at the girls.They took blessings from the elders and gave kisses to their parents."Excuse me girls,did both of you forgot abut me?"Swara asked in a fake hurt voice.

"Nahi Swarama,we were just getting over there"Maha said and both of them kissed her cheek and sat at their respective places.

After having their breakfast,Durgaprasad,Ram,and Adarsh left for offiice.Whereas,Annapoorna,Sujatha and Parineetha left for the kitchen with Swara and Ragini to make lunch preparations.

"Maha,Radhika.Let's go.I'll drop both of you at library."Laksh said picking up his car keys."Tk paa.Ek minute"Radhika said arriving there with Maha.The girls left with their father.

Once all the Maheswaris' arrived for lunch ,everyone was having a great time talking about their day.

The family was doing their usual routine at home,sitting in the living room,spending time together.Since it was Sunday,everyone would be at home after having lunch.This was a habit for this family.

"Nanima,maa scolded me today.She said I am being irresponsible for waking up late on Sunday"Maha complained to Sujatha.                                                                                                             "Arey,kyu Ragini ?It's a Sunday after all,let them sleep"Sujatha replied.                                                "Par cachi,I didn't even scold her."Ragini replied shoclingly.

"Lying to nanima hena"Ragini said chasing Maha.That's when Laksh and Radhika joined to catch her.This is what happens in this family when a person lies for a small matter especially the two girls.Ragini stopped due to tiredness and went the way Swara was watching the girls and their father playing. 

"I know Swara,you miss him.We all miss Sanskar."Ragini said touvhing her sisters shoulder.          "It's just that,I cant beleive he's dead,missing all of this"Swara said while a tear rolled down her cheek.
