Mark knocked on the wooden door hesitantly. He could feel his insides twist with anticipation. He stared down at his socks, mentally telling himself that everything would be fine, just like how it's always been.

The door creaked open revealing a smiling Donghyuck. "Come in." Mark nodded and entered silently.

He took a seat on the edge of Donghyuck's bed, watching anxiously as the younger male shut the door again. "So what else was it you wanted to learn?"

"Well..." Donghyuck took a seat next to Mark and looked up at him, his eyes wide with curiosity. "How did it feel when you found out you liked guys?"

"It didn't feel any different than liking a girl." Donghyuck nodded.

"Was it hard coming out to your parents?"

"I haven't told them yet. I'm waiting for the right mome-"

"Can we hold hands?" Mark's eyes widen at the sudden request. His mouth slightly agape as he watched Donghyuck stand up. "I've held hands with girls before. I want to see if there's a difference."

"Oh um-I-Okay." Mark stammered as he rose. He could feel beads of sweat form at his temple as he held his hand out. Donghyuck's hand entwined with his, nearly making him smile at the contact.

"Your hand is wet. Are they supposed to be this wet?" Mark snatched his hand away, wiping away the sweat on his jeans.

"It only happens when you're nervous." Donghyuck grew a mischievous smirk. Mark shut his eyes and let out a deep sigh.

I made a mistake.

"Mark Lee is nervous around me! I make my hyung nervous." The younger male teased.

"Hey. That's enough. Don't poke fun at me."

"I'm sorry. I'm just trying to lighten the mood."

Mark "tsk'd" and shoved his hands into his pockets. "I'm going to leave now."

Donghyuck watched as Mark reached out for the door. When his fingers gripped the brass nozzle he took a step forward.

"Hey Mark..."

"Hmm?" The older hummed and turned his head slightly.

"I'll try hard, okay?"

"Don't try. Just let it happen." With that Mark slipped out the door, leaving Donghyuck alone with his thoughts.

Wow. When did Mark become so cool?
