THE FIRST ACQUAINTANCE

Kartik's P.O.V

Today I have my interview with the singhaniya's. I hope it goes well. Well i have to do this.

I went to the Singhaniya's office and the owner Mr. Naitik was there to take my interview.

"Good morning sir", i greeted enthusiastically
"Good morning Mr. Kartik. Please show me your papers"

I did as he said
He was glancing through my documents with a pumpkin face(without any expression)
I don't know what's gonna happen but i hope for the best.

"So Mr. Kartik I think you were a very bright student at school and college. Will you be able to handle the job of my secretary?" He asked.

"Yes sir. I will try my best." I replied

"Very well then. You can go and we will call you and tell you if you are appointed." He said with a smiling face.

"Thank you sir. I will be waiting for your call." I replied.
I think it went well. Maybe I'll get the job. I hope i get it.

I was walking to the bus stop and I crashed woth someone. She was a beautiful girl with brown eyes and a wide gorgeous smile on her face which was now turning to a fierce look.
"Can't you see while walking??" She said angrily.

"Hey madam. It's your fault, you came into my way without watching." I replied

"Wow! What a great man you are!! First you came in my way and dropped my hand bags and now instead of saying sorry you are fighting with me. Pick up my bags now." She replied with an angry expression which looked so cute on her face.

I couldn't resist to take her command seriously and at that moment i picked up all of her stuffs and returned it to her.

She took them with a terrified looks as if she hated me.

I was new to this city so i went to look for PGs. I had to go to some place to looms for one.
I went there and found that house to be a big bungalow. I talked to the owner and he rented me one room.

I was happy that I got a place of shelter as well in this city. I brought my stuffs from the hotel. I was resting in my room and I heard a lot of noise from the ground floor of that bungalow. It was the owner's family. They were having fun.
I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. There i saw the same girl in the kitchen.

"You came here following me?" She asked in a shrill but sweet voice.

"I am not interested in following you Miss. I live here." I replied

"What??"

"Yes. I live here as a paying guest. Now you tell me what are you doing here?"

'Excuse me!! This is my grandpa's house. Dont you dare ask me.'

"Oh!"

She went from the kitchen

When i went to my room i kept thinking of her the whole time. The way she enjoy with her family. The way she talks. The way she smiles...Ohh no! She is not going away from my mind.

That afternoon i got a call from Shinghaniya and son's. They confirmed my job. I am appointed there...woo hoo!!

I have to join from tomorrow.
