A lovely vixen such as her

did not seem much like trouble

a night on the town

together with her I was truly proud

A drink at the pub

a quick dance at the club

was simply expected to be

but the events leading up

were quite unexpected

especially for me

Caught in her trap like prey

I followed her back towards her lair

entranced in her ruby eyes

her curvaceous body

I was blind and when I came to

I was bound to a chair

My heart drenched in despair

almost kept me from realizing

that my arms and legs

along with half my body were not there

my screams filled her lair

far greater than my own blood

Before my eyes the witch had appeared

her hair turned in to crusty coils

her body deformed and lanky

teeth sharp as knives

and nails long and ragged

Her chuckle was like the shrikes of the damned

her hand caressing my cheek

was the least of my worries

what happens next shall be kept with me

for I was not blessed with eternal sleep

Now young man you beware

Beware the witch

The Devil's Heir
