Teaching Jenna has proved to be quite easy. In two days, she had learned to control her movement and now she moves as confidently as me. In less than a day, she had learned to recognize energy and speak with telepathy. She had also learned to manipulate the energy around her with telekinesis. That made her thirsty. Of course it would. It requires a lot of vampire energy to manipulate other energy. Almost a week later, we have not found out what her trait is. This is normal. But I have a feeling we will know soon. As quickly as she has gotten where she needs to be, she will find her trait. I have to admit I am surprised at how easy everything is for her. I told her it would be easy, but I hadn’t known it would be that easy.

I take over Dr. Hammond's classes tomorrow. She is ready to be in public with supervision. If she slips up I will simply fix it for her. Being around humans may make her trait known. If she is a listener it will help her to be around weaker minds. They tend to project thoughts rather loudly. If she is a whisperer, again the weaker minds will help her to see if she can compel them. I have taught Ruby a great deal to protect her mind from other vampires, so it would not do well to practice with her. Speaking of Ruby, Jenna has done quite well living with a human. I do not think she will have problems being around them at all. But just in case, I have a locked cooler that I will hide in my classroom for blood. I cannot be with her in all her classes, but I can keep a mental connection as long as she is within a few miles of me. If she struggles or messes up, she has only to say so. Ruby has been pestering me about taking her shopping for some clothes before she goes back to school. Some people go to class in sweats, but I would hate to force her to do so. Especially when they were my own. So today, when she wakes, I will take her. It will be practice being around humans, but mainly, Ruby is right. A woman should look like a woman. A woman wants to wear pretty clothes and look beautiful. I personally thought it was sexy to see her in my clothes with no makeup, but it is not about me. If Jenna wants to dress like a woman, she should be able to. I mentioned retrieving some of her clothes when we went to compel Jada into not noticing Jenna's absence. But as Jenna held up an old pair of her jeans, we both knew her old clothes would no longer fit. So, shopping we would go.

When Jenna came out of the room I had set up for her, her hair was brushed but she had sleep lines on her face.

"Good morning, Jenna." I said politely. She smiled. I could tell she was not a morning person. Neither was I, but it was not morning. It was noon.

"Coffee?" She asked.

"Of course, I am beginning to learn your ways. I already made it."

"Thanks. Sorry, I'm just not much company when I first wake up." She said groggily. It made me chuckle.

"You know, you'd think that being a vampire, I wouldn't be like this in the morning. If someone attacked me I'd probably let them win right now." She laughed.

"Oh, I doubt it. We have a way of becoming alert when we need to."

"That's good to hear." She said as she poured her coffee and used the Hazelnut creamer and sugar I had put on the counter for her.

"So what's on the agenda for today?" She asked as she took her first sip. I watched her lick her lips, a reminder of the coffee shop. "Shopping." I replied.

She chuckled. "Doesn't Ruby get your groceries? Where is she by the way?"

"She is out getting groceries. I meant shopping for clothes. You have none. Unless you want to go to school in my sweats..."

"School?" Her eyes lit up. I could tell she was bored, being cooped up and training all day. It would be good for her to get out, now that I knew I could trust her not to slip up. The bloodlust had her worried since she'd only been around two humans, Ruby and briefly Jada. But as soon as I tell her about the cooler in my classroom, and the mental connection we will share, I know she will agree. Plus the shopping trip will raise her confidence. I know she will be fine.
