"Don't forget where you belong, babe." Finnick's lips glided against my ear and his left hand gently tucked a strand of hair behind my other ear.
"Never, never in a million years Finn." I whispered back just before our lips crashed together for what might be the last time.
Tears began filling my eyes as this thought crossed my mind.
Finnick broke the kiss as my tears hit his cheek.
"What are you doing? You never cry and now it not the best time to start." He giggled quietly, cupping my face in his large hands and wiping away my tears with his thumbs.
"I-I'm just going to miss you, so much. Just please promise me you'll come back, alive." I replied staring into his irresistible eyes.
"I promise."
He lightly pressed his lips onto my forehead as the guards flooded the room to take him away.
They pulled him from the bed and took him out of the room.
"I love you Alyce!" He shouted as he was no longer in sight.
"I love you too, Finn." I whispered to myself, as the door was now shut.
The tears broke away from my eyes again and travelled quickly down my face in jagged lines.
It's funny how people can turn out to be something you would have never expected. I was supposed to be the tough, goth girl but when I met Finnick he bought out a different girl in me. A girl that was madly in love with a jock, a girl that couldn't bare being without him. Who would have guessed it?
A loud knock on my door interrupted my train of thought.
"Come in!" I shouted, attempting to flatten my hair.
A familiar woman entered the room dramatically.
"Oh god." I muttered under my breath. "Jackleen..."
Jackleen was our districts escort for the people picked to compete in the annual games.
"Hello, young one! How are you this lovely afternoon?" She said in her stupid fake English accent.
There's one thing I didn't tell you, everyone else accept Finn, brought out that creepy goth girl again.
"Lovely afternoon?! How is this a lovely afternoon?! Finnick was chosen to compete in the stupid fucking hunger games AGAIN!" I practically screamed.
"Wow, big words from a small gal." She mocked slowly.
"Don't fuck with me Jackleen!" Anger rushed round my body as I flung my arm out to hit her.
She stepped back and I missed. Her mouth dropped open as she stepped back further.
"That's right, the 'small gal' isn't looking so small now, is she?" I stepped closer to her.
The door flung open behind her and someone came bursting in.
"Hey, hey! Stop!" He shouted dragging Jackleen back toward him.
