Am I Crazy?

I don't know when, but I fell asleep a few minutes after Seto and Sshadee left. The room was silent, it was like I was alone, the only one in the room. But I wasn't, or I don't think I was. I kept hearing different sounds, different noises then what I'm use to hearing in this hell hole.

Hours passed.

I was half awake, I could hear everything, but there wasn't much to hear. How can you hear something, when there's nothing there to hear? Voices, how can you hear someone, when there's no one talking?

It's the weirdest thing, when you're alone, you think of the weirdest things. But when people are around, do you think, differently?

What changes?

Does your brain change? Or the people who are near you?

Enough thinking for now. I sit up, because I know if I continue to lay there, I'll fall back to sleep. I look around the room, but no one is here, it's empty.

"Ian?" I say to the empty room.

He said he would wake me up for supper, maybe he tried but I refused to wake up? Don't panic, just go and see if he's there, he's probably just waiting down there for me.

I sigh, my brain telling me to just go back to sleep, but I ignore this thought and quickly stand up. The room is cold, which is something I didn't realize till now. Thinking the halls will be slightly warmer, I don't hesitate to open my door. The halls... empty. The door closing echos throughout the long, dark, empty halls. Dark. Maybe a few lights on in the hall, but the rest were turned off, making it slightly dark. I start walking, but the hall seems to go on forever, like no matter how much I walk, the distance is always the same. I feel like I'm walking on a treadmill, and in all honesty, I feel stupid for glancing down to make sure, because I'm definitely not on a treadmill.

I have to admit, that was kind of pathetic. Oh, it's you again. Aww, you don't seem happy to hear me, yet I missed you so much. Right, you keep telling yourself that. I'm here to help, remember? Help!? You got me here in the beginning! We're a team, you and I. I remember when you use to say that, before they brought you here. I mean, you're a great distraction for this hall, this is ridiculous! You know what else would be a great distraction?

I sigh, trying to focus on everything around me.

What... The pills the doctor gave you.

I stop walking suddenly.

How did you know about that? I thought that wasn't real... Of course it was, you just don't, remember, how it really happened. But that's okay. Right, like I'm going to believe what you say. Look in your pocket if you don't believe me.

I hesitated for a moment, not really knowing what to do, or what to think. But I did what he said anyway and I reach my hand in my pocket. It startled me just a little, but as I pulled my hand out, a small pill bottle was there. I don't remember putting it in my pocket, but that doesn't matter, what matters is that it's there and he wasn't lying.

See, believe me now? Take one.

I really didn't want to, and I don't know why, but I did.

Let the fun begin.

I look around confused before quickly putting the bottle back in my pocket. Nothing happened.

I continue to walk, slightly surprised yet relieved when there's a turn in the hall. Unfortunately, as soon as I round the corner, I see the hall splits off into three more halls.
