_Prussia's P.O.V_

A white cat ((sadly)) awesomely walked down the alleyway, his white fur a mess and the black and white handkerchief tied around his neck was now tattered and loose*. He had grow so thin since that day. Sure, he had caught a few mice here and there, but was always to depressed to eat them. Now, when he actually needed food, he had no strength to lure them into his claws. He leaped into a garbage can- yes, the awesome albino cat was forced to scavenge for trashcan food- and started thinking of how he ended up here while searching for his meal.

--Gilbird Will be Showing Us a Flashback--

Gilbert's owners picked him up and kissed him, tears leaking from their eyes. He tilted his head in confusion and meowed, for, they usually just let him be. They placed him in his pet carrier (Which he hated, because it was totally unawesome)) and then walked outside their den to their monster*. His state of bewilderment was settled and was replaced with a state of knowing. He had heard from the neighbor's cats that a time comes in a young cat's life were they go to the vet and 'change.' He guessed his time was up. He also assumed that's why the humans were acting so strange towards him.

The humans kept on driving for what seemed like hours. They finally stopped and picked up Gilbert's cage. He felt himself being lowered to the ground. The carrier's door opened up and out in front of Gilbert's nose was miles of rolling hills. He scampered out of the cage and before you know it, he heard monster's growling and his owners drove away. He ran after them, but to no avail. They kept speeding away. He thought he could make it without them but found himself depressed. He walked through the hills until he hit concrete and city. Now, he is just trying to survive...

--End of Flashback. Back to previous time!--

All Gil managed to scavenge was an old fish bone. He was about to dig in, when he heard banging of metal. He picked up his head and his red orbs met a pretty, lean she-cat with sleek (Fur/C) and shining (E/C) eyes. For a fellow alley cat, she seemed to be doing fairly well. She opened her jaws to speak. "I said, you're not really going to eat that garbage, are you?"

Gilbert shook his head sharply and replied, "That was my plan." He muttered the last part. "It was all I could find."

The she-cat shook her head. "Come on, I'll help you out. No cat deserves that," she gestures her tail towards the bone, "as a meal." Gilbert grunted but followed the cat nonetheless. "I'm (Name), by the way."

"(Name)?" Gilbert thought for a moment, "That's an odd- but awesome- name for a cat."

(Name) chuckles. "Thanks, I guess. What's you're name?"

"My awesome name is Gilbert!"

"That's not much better than my name. But, it's cool. How'd you end up on the streets, Gilbert? You obviously don't seem like a pure-bred alley cat."

So, Gilbert told (Name) everything. She was the first nice cat he has encountered since coming to the blasted city. He also learned about (Name). She was a feral cat all her life and has never been loved by a human before. She tried once, but one day, they abused her and she ran back into the alleys. She taught Gilbert how to catch mice the proper way (and he has already eaten his fill of their meaty substance) and she even helped him clean himself up and find a nice shelter for himself.

By the time all of their hard work was done, it was nighttime and both cats were tired. Gilbert went back into the same trashcan he was in before, leaving (Name) to finish up her mouse. Something he had seen would be the perfect thank you gift to (Name) for all she has done to him. He dragged it back, only to see her not there. He checked everywhere before finally going inside his new den. There she was, curled into a tight ball on the newspaper-clad floor. He chuckled and quietly laid down next to her, placing his gift on the other side of her. It was a (F/C) and (F/C) handkerchief, in a pattern similar to his. He closed his eyes and fell asleep, both of their purrs twirling in the sky together.
