CHAPTER - 7

                                                                                ON SATURDAY

I felt so much guilty, what else could I feel. Today was farewell party. It was 10, when I removed my blanket and saw the time. I got up as fast as I could and took a cold shower and started revising Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers. The reactions and mechanisms were confusing a lot. They were weekend tests, and we had them at 12'o clock. I took my bicycle and went. I saw Rose, she wanted to talk with me. She waved her hand, but I ignored her ! The exam took 3 hours. I was leaving college, suddenly, I felt a pull on my shoulder and it was Rose, she hugged me tight!!! I was speechless.

' So how are you dear?? I know you were in some trouble, last night!! But are you okay?? ', Rose said with her glistening eyes.

' I am fine, actually I'm great. And I am extremely sorry for last night. We can talk about this with Ananya, I want to apologize her too!! ', I said.

' Yay, great Yash...I'm excited for your song too, you are not going to tell me, are you? '.

' Nopes, Miss!! But this evening you are going to get a lot of surprises!! So be prepared!! ', I said patting her shoulders.

Ananya was coming towards us. She looked so beautiful, in that black top!! I couldn't resist looking at her. She looked at us, ignored me and said.

' Rose, I'm waiting for u!! Let's go! ', she angrily stared at me.

' Okay, Yash, I have to go and yeah this evening you will also have surprises from me! ', Rose said and went.

' What the fuck! What kind of surprises ?? Oh my god !! Please No ! ', I shouted.

Really man, I was scared. Ananya didn't even talk with me. Well I had to prepare to for my song.

AT EVENINING

It was a great evening. The one which I have never forgotten and never will. Well I wore a Black colored Blazer with a red tie and took my lovely Guitar. Though I had given them instrumentals, but I liked to be on safer side always. Well it is said ' Precaution is better than Cure ! '. I took my scooty and headed towards the party. It was such a great evening, we were welcomed by a map, well it was huge, had a lot of things like Dance Floor, Food stalls, Singing contest, etc. Ravi came and he was astonished.

' My god! Look at you ...You look great man!! ', he said.

' Thanks man!! U look great too!! '.

' So which song dude?? ', he asked smiling.

' Surprise bro !! Listen Ravi, I gotta practice some notes so we will meet afterwards ', I said.

' Okay, whatever you say my friend ', he said and left.

I went in washroom, washed my face, and looked into my eyes. And I said to myself, I was gonna do it. I heard the announcement for participants of Singing Contest. I went and saw Rose. HOLY MOLY!! She looked beautiful!! She had 12th number for her song. I had 10th one. At the back of stage, we were talking with the teachers for the instructions. My chance came. I was scared a lot. My hands started shivering as I entered the stage with a spotlight, shining in front of my eyes. There was a problem with instrumental. It took 5 mins, 10... afterwards a teacher gave me my guitar. I went near mike and spoke.

' Well I'm sorry for the delay, I didn't expected such thing. Anyways I was gonna sing ' Perfect ', but now I will be singing ' Why don't you love me ', and yeah it is dedicated to a person. And...I'm not here for competiting against all you, I just wanna sing it and express my heart. You know it hurts the most when you fall in love with someone you can't be with and yeah it is for you, I love you forever!!! ', I said looking at Ananya and the audience gave a applause. I started...
