People stare at me like I'm an alien when I enter a room.

It makes me want to shrink into a dark corner and sneak my way in.

Then I scare people when they notice I'm standing beside them.

They never saw me coming.

I guess I am so silent not even a whisper can compare.

Then when they see me more and more, like a lightbulb in a pitch black room, everyone stares again.

This time, I don't sink into the shadows.

I am confident, proud, happy to even be recognized.

Something in me changes into something beautiful, extravagent, exotic.
