Brother's Teammate (Andrew Benintendi)

Chapter 9

We had a good run boys! Thank you Papi for all the countless wins you have given us and all the countless smiles you have put on all of Red Sox Nations faces. You will be dearly missed!  

AUGUST 17th 

Well today's the day. I'm finally leaving Boston and heading back to Louisiana to start my final year at LSU and I know it's going to be a great one for sure. I may not have Andrew with me, but I'm going to have all my friends there. 

All my stuff has been shipped except the bags that I'm taking on the plane. I changed into my Benintendi shirt and some shorts and my sandals. I put everything else that I needed away into my carry on and suitcase and then I went downstairs. 

Mom had breakfast waiting and I sat down and ate some and then she cleaned up and then it was off to the airport for me mom and dad. I wish Andrew and X were here to see me off, but they are currently in Baltimore and they won their game last night and I hope they can do it again tonight. 

We got through the airport and checked our bags and then went through security and went right onto our plane. Once we got in our seats I got out my phone and texted Andrew.

Alright babe, I'm about to take off, I'm going to miss you so much. I'll see you soon. I love you , I'll text you when I land

From Baby<3:

Okay babe, have a safe flight. I'm going to miss you too, I love you princess.

Soon we were in the air and then soon enough we had finally landed. We got our bags and then went to the hotel mom and dad were staying at so they could drop off their stuff and then it was time to head over to LSU. 

I took a picture for snapchat and captioned it "It feels so good to be back Baton Rouge!" Soon enough we were on the campus and at the apartments I was staying at. All of my stuff was already there so we began to unpack. 

Everything was away and everything looked amazing in my room. (Picture in media) I walked my parents back out to their car and gave them the biggest hug in the world. 

"I'm going to miss you guys so much." I said as I pulled away from the hug. "We're going to miss you too, but you'll be back home in to time." My dad said I gave them one final hug before they left. 

I went back into my room and my phone was ringing. It was a FaceTime from Andrew. I picked up and waited to see his handsome face. "Hey babe!" I said once I could see him. "Hi beautiful, hows Louisiana?"

"It's good mom and dad just left and everything is set up in my room. I'm the first one here, Lexi should be here sometime today." I said and he smiled. I saw that he was in the clubhouse because the next thing I know, I was saying hi to all the boys. 

"I miss you." He said with a sad smile. "I miss you too, but I'll see you soon. Once you're done you can come visit me, you and Xander okay?" I said and he nodded and we just talked about nonsense until he had to go to BP. 

Not long after I hung up, Lexi came barging into my room and I gave her the biggest hug and helped her set up her room. 

Next was Sarah;

And then finally Kylie was the last one to join us.

By the time we settled in it was around 7 and we were hungry so we all got ready and went out to Chick Fil-A and then we needed food for the apartment, so we went out to walmart and got what we needed. 

Once we got back it was around 10 and then we unpacked everything and put it away and by that time it was 11. 

I went into my room and changed into a tank top and a pair of Andrew's sweatpants. I went onto the ESPN app and saw that the Red Sox had one and Andrew hit a homer! I texted him goodnight before I went to sleep and once my head hit that pillow, I was out like a light.
