Gray Hair Confession

The gang was hanging out like usual. Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Frank, Hazel, Leo, and Nico. They were all in Cabin 3, Poseidon's Cabin, sitting around sharing stories.

Annabeth was twiddling her hair, and it just happened to be the gray strand of hair.

Leo being ADHD as usual was taping his feet on the ground rapidly, and staring at Annabeth. Everyone else was talking to one another and laughing. "Okay stop!" Leo shouted and it got everyone's attention and they all stared at him. "I have a question and it has been bothering me ever since I met the both of you!" He pointed at Annabeth and Percy.

"Yes?" Percabeth said in unison.

"How did you get the gray stands of hair in your hair?" Leo said, and Percy and Annabeth looked crestfallen. "I'm sorry that must be a personal question. I was just wandering."

"Yes. I have too wandered about that." Hazel replied.

"Umm.. Yeah it's a long story." Percy said as he looked at the ground, then to Annabeth.

"It's okay. We should tell them." Annabeth stared into Percy's eyes. "It must be killing them, not knowing 'n all."

"Okay then. You tell your side of the story and then I'll tell mine."

"Actually you should tell your side first, Percy, after all I only got there because of you. No offense, I know you blame yourself."

"Ok." Percy started with his side of the story. "Umm.. It all started when we were 13, and Grover got a scent of two powerful demigods, so he called for back-up. So Thalia, Annabeth, and I went for the school he was at. At that time Annabeth and I weren't together, and I was feeling a lot of self doubt because if Thalia. (Which is another long story.) We watched them at a distant, then we lost them. Thalia said we had to stay together, but when I saw them I went after them. I was overpowered by the monster, then he had all 3 of us. We were at this cliff and Annabeth, Grover, sand Thalia came to rescue us. We fought for a little bit, then the Hunters of Artemis showed up. Then Annabeth tackled him, throwing them self over the cliff. We mourned for a while, then realized the two demigods were confused. We introduced ourselves and then they told us their names were Nico and Bianca...." Everyone gasped, and a single tear fell from Nico's face. Then Percy continued," We got to camp. That night during capture the flag, Thalia and I both snapped she started blaming me. Then she electrocuted me, so I doused her with creek water. Then we got a prophecy from the spirit of Delphi-"

"Rachel?" Leo asked.

Annabeth stepped in,"No. Rachel didn't become the Spirit of Delphi until after the second Titans War. Sorry continue."

"-I don't remember much of the prophecy. I remember only five could go. Thalia, Zoe, Bianca, Grover, and another hunter but she ended up getting ranked by the Stoll brothers and couldn't go. So I went instead. Way later in the quest after we got past Hephaestus's giant killing machine, I was confronted by Aphrodite-"

Nico interrupted," When did my sister die in this story?"

Percy answered," She was killed in the maze of garbage, killed by Hephaestus's giant failure thing. She told me to run, and I did. I shouldn't have. I should have died and she should be with you." Percy started tearing up.

Nico was too," It's okay bro. I have forgiven you."

"Well I was confronted by Aphrodite and she told me to 'relax! I know why your really on this quest! I know it's not to defeat Luke, but for Annabeth don't worry.' And blah blah blah...."

Annabeth interrupted this time," Wait! You were?! Then why didn't you make a move until three years later?"

He answered," I thought it was obvious when I took the sky from you?"

"Wait what?!" Everyone shouted.

Then they heard a knock knock on the door to see Grover coming in. "Hey guys what's all the shouting going on?"

"Oh just telling them about Titans Curse."

"Oh that dam story? Hahaha!!!"

"Hahaha!!!" Percy and Grover started bursting out laughing. "Inside joke sorry."

Annabeth said." Don't ask guys. They still haven't told me about it after 5 years!" She rolled her eyes.

Percy continued," Later we went to the Hoover Dam. We were getting attacked by zombies and I nearly cut Rachel in half, and she then helped us get out. Blah blah blah... Umm... Oh! Then once we got to Mount Tam, a battle went on blah blah blah. I noticed Artemis holding the sky over Annabeth, so I rushed over and took the sky from her. And she helped fight Atlas with her Hunters and Thalia. Blah blah blah.... Atlas ended up once again holding the sky. And Zoe died, and Artemis sent her soul to the stars or something. After holding the sky, Annabeth and I got a gray strand of hair." He hugged Annabeth.

"So you got your gray hair by holding the sky?" Jason summed up.

"Yeah." Percy replied.

"And you couldn't of just said that?"

" I thought you would want to know how we got there."

"I could of survived without knowing." Jason said and the other guys nodded and got up and walked away.

"There goes my painful story of holing the sky for like days! I actually don't remember how long. But whatever." Annabeth grieved.
