Edward

I opened my eyes, it was cold outside, and it's raining. I like raining days. I got myself dressed and walked down stairs. After breakfast, I started my way to school, even though it's the first day of school, there weren't a lot of people on the street. I walked on the wet walk way. Suddenly, a hand grabbed my shoulder, I jumped and turned around. "Hahaha!!! Look at your face" Louis laughed, "Why are you here?" I asked, he skipped the question,"How was the first-day-of-school-surprise?" "Scary." I replied. Louis had a head of blonde short hair, we had been friends since first grade. He usually walked on the street two blocks away , and always complains on something.

When we arrived Northwest Middle School, Mr. Johnson, the principle was there, waving toward to anyone who walked into the school. Then I saw the blonde hair flew as the wind blows, Elena Simmons, I waved at her, and she waved back! I felt my face burning, "Have a crush on her?" Louis asked "What are you talking about?" I lied.

After the first class, Louis and I walked to our lockers. Along the way Louis kept on blaming about the girl sitting next to him. I just replied him with "OK", "I know right", and things like that. Sometimes I just wanted to rest for a little bit, I think people just talk too much. I unlocked the lock on my locker and opened the door. I taped my schedule and the picture of my family in Alaska, then I quickly taped the picture I took for Elena during her birthday party on to the door, then I closed the door with my fastest speed, in case of any other 7th graders saw it. Suddenly, I felt someone trying to open the door, so I pushed the door back with my back.

"Edward?" Louis said with a weird voice.

"Yes?" I replied.

"What's inside your locker?"

"Nothing" I felt my heart thumping

"You sure?"

"Very sure."

"Don't lie to me."

"I know."

"So let me ask you again, what's inside?"

"Seriously nothing."

"Fine."

I waited until Louis walked away, "That was close!" I thought, and I started my way to my next class.

Stalker

That day at lunch, Louis and I was sitting at the table at the edge of the cafeteria. We enjoyed our sandwiches while chatting. Then, I saw the weirdest thing that had happened in Northwest Middle School Chicago. There was a boy, he has a head of black hair, and doesn't look handsome (No offence) nor ugly, he looked like hundreds of other boys from Chicago, but the weirdest thing was: He was sitting alone. Most new kids usually make friends on their first day of school, so no one would be sitting alone.

I wonder why he would be alone. So in the following days, I following him from place to place, from his class, his locker, even to his house. His home looked bigger than the rest of the others' in Chicago, which was a three-story mansion, and most of the outside were white and blue edges. I kept watching him until he walked inside, then I left.

The day after I followed him to his house, I stopped following him, mostly because I felt like a stalker. That day, Louis and I walked back home together. We talked about sandwiches, lockers, annoying people, and pranks.

"Do you know that guy who sit alone at lunch?" I asked.

"Who?" Louis replied.

"Black hair, kinda short." I described.

"Oh him!"

"You know him?"

"Mike Johnson, the son of the principle, he had been home-schooled for 6 years. I don't like him really much"
