Percy's p.o.v

The idea of a god being on a boat terrified all of us. I mean, we thought they couldn't even stand up or walk. Leo then told us to follow him, we did but slowly, still wondering who I might be. When we got there he had his back turned to us, he was wearing black jeans, with a white t-shirt, black leather jacket. He also wore a bandana wrapped around his head. When he turned I had the sudden urge to punch someone in the face. And that exactly told me who this god was. He had black glasses that hid his glowing red eyes.

He scanned us, until his eyes landed on Annabeth and I. He then grinned wickedly." Hey punks long time no see," he then looked at us up and down " y'all look terrible, it looks like death visited you, I could give it a head start" he the laughed at us. " hello lord Ares, how may we help you?" I stared at her, how could annabeth, who hated Ares as much as I did,be able to talk to him with such confidence. Ares looked at Annabeth than at me . "Well I see that my two least favorite demigods are hear" he stated " heard y'all two made it out of Tartarus safe?" I was slightly hoping otherwise but who cares right punks?"

I glared at him is he for real? I mean we have had the worst life ever, even Heracles ( I'm sorry but I don't like the roman ways, Greeks all the way!!!) and he had to go through the twelve labors." well im pretty sure i am better than heracles himself, want me to prove it, well Lets see if i can mach him I had Killed the Nemean Lion .check. I have killed at least three hydras soo . Check. I also battled the the Erymanthian Boar .check again. I also Cleaned the Augean Stables .check. I battled the Stymphalian Birds and let me tell you they were pretty good I said. Ares looked at me suprised, probably wondering how I could have done this. But I wasn't done. " oh I also killed the the Cretan Bull twice might I add. I didn't capture the cattle, but I did kill Geryon. O and I also battled Cerberus. O and don't forget that I have fought many titans and giants, I also led the war to save you and the rest of the gods, battled Kronos himself, went through Tartarus, saw the most scariest things in my life, o and did I mention we battled Tartarus himself." I said proudly daring him to question my courage. It worked because I left him speechless. He then looked at me and smiled crookidly " well then i guess we won't have a problem when we battle Gaea together." I looked at him amazed " what are you saying lord Ares." Annabeth said. " well that's what I'm hear for, we heard y'all accomplished everything, the my sisters statue, was brought back to the camp, and we went back to are normal selves, lord Zues told me to tell y'all that we would fight alongside y'all, he is still to proud to come tell you himself, but alas he will reward you grandly if we win." He said now it was my time to be left speechless. " well I must go prepare for war, and you two." He looked at me and annabeth straight in the eyes. " be careful there might more challenges in the way." Annabeth then nodded, we all turned around because he then began to glow. I looked at the rest of the crew. " at least there is some good news, the gods will fight alongside us."
