~Zayn's POV~
I walk around the school and outside after my last class. Waiting impatiently for Celia. Her bright blue hair finally comes into view. Today she's sporting a purple dress with black leggings, and a pair heels.
"Hi," she grins once she reaches me. "Did you finally get rid of her?" she asks and I frown.
"I need to talk to you," I say ignoring her comment. I take a deep breath before continuing. "I can't do this with you anymore."
"Why the hell not?" she snaps.
"I feel so wrong doing this to Karmin, she doesn't deserve this," I sigh pinching the bridge of my nose. "I love her too much to betray her like this."
"You're kidding me, right? I thought that you wanted to keep doing this," she says crossing her arms across her chest. For her short stature, she is quite intimidating. Her gray eyes seem as if they can see right through you.
"I never wanted to in the first place, you bribed me pretty much," I remind her.
"Bullshit!" she retorts. "You've been all over me since the first day you've met me."
"No, I haven't. You promised to leave Karmin alone, remember? And not tell her about what's going on. You know what, I'm going to tell her right now," I say turning away from her.
She grabs my arm, turning me around. I'm dragged down to her level and her lips are forcefully placed against mine. I try to pull away, but she doesn't let me.
"Zayn?" a tiny voice squeaks. I known that voice. I pull away from a smirking Celia, and turn to Karmin. Tears begin to pull in her brown eyes.
"Karmin," I whisper. "I can explain!"
"No, you can't. After everything, Zayn, really?" Her small hands ball up in fists at her sides. "And with her," her voice is laced with hatred, towards me. towards Celia, towards everyone.
"Karmin, please let me explain," I beg reaching out for her. My fingers brush against her arm, but she yanks it away.
"No, I don't want to hear it," she puts he hand up. "Don't even try." As she starts running, I feel as if my whole world just drifted away from me, all because of my stupid mistake.
"God, she's so annoying," Celia huffs.
"You're annoying," I snap.
The demented smile in her face falls. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me. I'm done with you," I growl walking away from her.
"You'll regret this!" she shrieks at me.
"No I won't!" I yell back.
"Oh, yes you will. You'll see Zayn!"
"Fuck off!" I shout back. I start running to my car. Maybe I can find Karmin and sort everything out. Will she ever give me for this? She has so much faith in me. Let me rephrase that, had so much faith in me.
As I'm driving down the street, I see her, talking on the phone to someone. I pull over in the sidewalk and get out of my car. I slam the door closed, making her head shoot up. Her eyes widen when they meet mine.
"I've got to go," I hear her say into the phone. She hangs up quickly.
"Karmin I-"
"Go away," she cuts me off, starting to walk away.
I grab her arm before she can get any further. "Not until you listen to me," I tell her.
"Let go!" she shouts trying to pull her arm from my grasp. "I'll call the police!"
"No you won't," I state.
Her eyes narrow at me in a challenging way. "Watch me," she says taking her phone out. Her fingers move across the screen quickly. I snatch the phone away from her, holding it high above my head and out of her reach.
"Give it back!" she whines trying to reach it.
"Listen to me then! She kissed me first!" I say before she can say anything again.
"You didn't have to kiss back!" she exclaims still trying to reach her phone. "And besides, I know that you've sneaking off to see her almost everyday," she tells me, looking me in the eyes.
"How did you know that?" I ask shakily.
"So it is true," she breathes. "Celia told me everything. I should've known anyway, you were always disappearing and wouldn't tell me where you were going. I can't believe you Zayn," she rants. Hurt laces every single word she says.
"I know," I sigh. "Can you please forgive me?" I beg, stepping towards her.
"You slept with her, Zayn," she cries. "And you lied to me. Why didn't you just tell me what was going on? I could've helped you." The tears make her brown eyes glisten in the sunlight.
"I was going to," I say. I know I should've told you sooner, I just didn't know how," I whisper. There's a long pause. "I love you, Karmin."
"I need some time to think about this," she finally speaks.
"How long?" I ask urgently. I don't want to be away from her for too long, I don't think I can. I once went on a camping trip with my family for a week, and ended up coming back three days early just to see her.
"I'm not sure yet," she says looking down at the ground.
I step closer to her, extending my arms. Surprisingly, she wraps her arms around me tightly, and I do the same. She pulls away too quickly, leaving me near tears.
"Goodbye for now, Zayn," she says, standing on her tip toes and kissing my cheek. She take her phone back before she begins to walk away.
As I watch the distance grow between us, I feel as if my whole world has drifted away from me, forever.
Hello everyone! :) Wattpad deleted like half of my chapter so I had to come in here and fix it. I had it like, just the way I wanted it at first, and was super happy, but Wattpad was like, haha no.
Anyways, thank you all for reading :) And what do you think Zayn's secret is? :D
