Chapter 4

Even though the hotel was only a few miles away for the school , to say walking there was hell was an understatement.

I threw myself onto my bed and let out a Loud ugh! "Nothing beats Texas heat" dean mumbled as he made his way into the bathroom. Not even a minute after the door shut the water began to run and I groan incoherently once more cursing about not having to bathrooms . Kicking my shoes off I stand up removing my backpack and jacket leaving me in my jeans and tank top. Sighing I walk over to the old run down mini fridge and grab a root beer.
Bang bang bang . The door rattles harder with each knock . Dean stops his shower abruptly, I can hear the shower turn off quickly as he tries to suppress any extra noise . Carefully I walk over to my bed , set my drink on the stand and reach under my mattress for my gun. Bang bang bang ! The knocks come even louder this time . I sprung from my place quietly getting to the door to look out. Placing my gun firmly against the door I put one hand on the nob and peek out "James?" I let out a harsh whisper. I swing the door open keeping the gun in its place James comes rushing in and it's then I notice the knife if his hand and the blood smeared across his hands and cheek.
I slam the door closed set my gun on the table and pull out a chair for him to sit. His blue eyes wide and alert the blood looked horrid against his gorgeous tan skin. His thick black hair fell messily at the top of his forehead covering his creasing eyebrows. "What happened to you?" I said , finally breaking the silence. Catching his breath he whispered "vampire" I bit my lip " he was waiting for me at my house looking for my mom , but she's on a job" dean opened the door fully clothed hair still dripping still slightly startled

"You alright man?"
"Yeah I'm fine"

Deans pov.

I eyed him carefully waiting for him to spring on us at any giving second but he never did. I turned on my heal and headed into the kitchen 'I need a drink' I thought to myself. This is going to be a long night. "Looks like we're not going to school for a few days kid , might want to get comfortable"

Blazes pov

I rolled my eyes at deans ridiculous comment even though he was right . Looking James up and down I put my hand on my chin and it my lip thinking about what to do about his clothes . I turned walking to a small chest located at the foot of my bed and pulled out a shirt a pair of jeans and some boxers. Throwing them in James' direction I pointed towards the shower. He nodded and headed in "right cold left hot" I mumbled walking back to my now hot drink gulping it down anyway laying back down I closed my eyes and listened to the shower running it wasn't long before I fell asleep completely exhausted from today's events
