Amnesia Is Crazy

"Just now a serious accident has acquired in one of Seoul's main roads. A big truck has ran over three citizen on the sidewalk. It is said that the driver of the truck was driving while he was drunk. When the paramedics came,  the driver was found dead in his seat because the truck collided with a tree after thing to avoid the victims. The victims consisted of two high school students,a boy and a girl and an old lady, The girl and the lady only receive minor injuries but the boy is in critical condition.  All the victims are being treated in Seoul hospital by now, " the radio blared.

The hospital was in a chaos. Doctors were shouting orders and nurses were  rushing to assist the doctors. In an emergency room,  a boy was lying on the operation table. His hair was caked with blood and his eyes were closed . "Kyungsoo . Where is he?! " a woman shouted when they got in to the hospital with her husband.

When the woman rested her eyes on a crying girl in front of the emergency room, she was in rage. She stomp across the tiles to her and land a stinging slap on the girl's cheek. The girl looked up, shock from the pain on her cheek.

But as soon as se saw her, she quivered in fear. "Where is he?! "The woman shouted at her. She points to the emergency room with a shaky hand . The woman slides down the wall till she's kneeling. She burries her face into her hands and start sobbing.  Her husband, who has been watching the exchange between them just stare at the door. Everyone was grieving for the boy.

After long hours, a man in a white coat came out of the room. Dr. Kim was written on his name tag. "Congratulations, he survived miraculously but.. " the hopeful mood drasticly drops down at the next words that fell out of his mouth. "He is in a coma, " When Mr. Do walks with Dr. Kim, leaving Mrs. Do with Jihye. The older lady suddenly shot up and face Jihye, fuming.

"It's your fault! " she fumed, pointing accusingly at her. The younger one shrinks under her glare, triggering more tears. "No no no n-no, "she whimpered, choking on her tears. "Don't you dare  see him again! Just stay away from my kyung! " she raised her voice a little , not caring when the other patients and nurses we're watching and whispering.

"No.. No.. Please, "she tried voicing out but it only came out as a choked sob. Mrs. Do just keep silent. "You will not see him again, " she said out loud. "No I need him.. "She was on her knees and she hug Mrs. Do's  leg, trying to beg for her to change her mind. The lady yanked her leg out of the girl's grip and carry on walking away from the sobbing girl.

The next day , she entered the Ward that kyungsoo was placed in after his surgery. She saw a nurse tidying up the bed. "Excuse me? " she ask as the nurse look up. "Where is the patient that supposed to be here? "She asked confusedly. But when everything clicked, she inwardly prayed her imagination isn't true. "You mean, patient Do Kyungsoo? Oh his parents discharge him and transfer him to another institute for an unknown reason, " the nurse explained, smiling not noticing the girl's expression drop. "O-oh I see. Thank you for telling me, " she struggle to keep up a strong front when she's already weeping inside.

"She really did it, she took him away from me, " she mumble, tears roll down her tear stained cheeks.
