It's your third year in Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw and today was your first class for Care of Magical Creatures, you had a crush on Malfoy for a year but kept it a secret, you and your best friend Hermione were walking to the woods when the pure blood brat stopped you.

"Oi L/N I need to talk to you privately" Malfoy asked

More like demanded... "And what for? I'm not in the mood to talk to a bratty ferret" Hermione snickered while Malfoy shot her a dirty glare "what are you laughing at mud blood it's not like your're any better", she stopped and looked like she was about to cry.

You stare at him wide eyed before you take his robes and lift him off the ground, you might be short but you were a hell lot more intimidating "listen here you pile of ferret crap, you can make fun of me, but you CAN'T make fun of my friends" you gave him an icy glare and threw him on the ground, a terrified look adorned his face "got it Malfoy?" you crossed your arms and scowled "y-yes m-ma'am/sir" he nodded furiously and dusted himself off "and I don't want to hear any 'my father will hear about this!' crap alright?" he stared at you with his mouth open "I said alright?" you repeated but more menacingly "y-yes!" he grabbed his books and speed walked to the woods a flustered mess.

-------- At Class --------

"You did what!?" you and your class were waiting for Hagrid while you explained what happened in the last ten minutes "its not a big deal Harry, I'm just showing him that he can't mess with my friends" you glance at Hermione who has a small smile on her face.

"Hey Y/N! I heard that you scared the wits out of Malfoy is that true?" Ron walks over to you, Harry and Hermione "yeah, and he deserved it" you smugly grin earning a chuckle from Harry "nice, that brat needs to pay someday anyways" you nod in agreement.

-------- To Lunch! After Laughing At Malfoy --------

You sit with the golden trio since you don't have any close friends in the Ravenclaw table, but you always did this so no one in the Gryffindor table glanced at you, everything was at peace until Malfoy had to come and ruin it "don't look back or you might see a ferret" Fred mutters and George shakes his head in disappointment "sitting with the Gryffindor's I see? My, my L/N I knew you had no friends but sitting at the Gryffindor table? That's just hilarious" Malfoy grinned, while his two goons laughed.

"Says the person who got scared of me, disrupted our class AND started screaming like a sick bird saying that you were going to die FROM a small scratch so... what were you saying?" you ask sassily while the red headed twins screamed 'ooooh!' throwing their hands in the air and the whole Gryffindor table died from laughter.

Malfoy had the most SOUR look while blushing in embarrassment "my father will-" you didn't give him time to finish when you flung a spoonful of porridge in his mouth "why you-!" he blushed even more speed walking to the double doors leading into the hall with his face still stuffed with porridge, by the time you turned around everyone was clutching their stomachs from their painful laughter.

Mission accomplished ~

-------- The Next Day -------

Today you had potions class with professor Snape, sadly you were seated next to the one and only Malfoy "yay..." you murmured angrily "oh my, so eager to see me" Malfoy smirks "shut it ferret! I have no time for your crap" you open your potions book and begin to read, Malfoy sighs and becomes serious.

"Ok seriously Y/N, I really need to talk to you privately" Malfoy wasn't kidding, he used your first name "seems like its important... fine, but after lunch" Malfoy grinned and went back to his book, you rolled your eyes then cussed under your breath for saying yes.

"Y/N L/N I would like you to not use this type of language in my class" professor Snape glares down at you, ugh "yes professor" you look down while some of the Slytherin's snicker "shut it" Malfoy glares at them and they stop, umm... why is he protecting me? "What the hell Malfoy why are you helping me exactly?" you whisper to him "why? Can't I help a friend?" he grins and keeps writing in his book "..." you don't even know what to say, so you ignore him for the rest of the class until lunch.

"That's... weird," you told Hermione what happened in class and she was right, it was weird... him asking to talk to me privately, then helping me when the others laughed, what the hell is happening?

"So... what did you want to talk about Malfoy?" You asked him crossing your arms, this better be important "I... I-I like you! I really do I just act mean because I'm scared you'd know!" he was blushing hard by now waiting for you to answer while you had a blank face on trying to process what he said "no way..." you said to yourself "it's true! Please I'm serious and... if you don't like me back then... its fine" he turns around and begins to walk away, "wait!" you pull his hand, he turns around and you kiss him softly, your eyes were closed while his were wide open.

This feels better then I thought it would...

He kisses back and wraps his arms around your waist while you move your hands to his almost white hair, "I love you" he whispers, you put your forehead to his and whisper back "I love you too~"

"And that's how I met your dad!" You exclaimed, you and Draco were 28 now and had adopted a four year old girl and 5 year old bot "that's so cute!" your daughter squealed "mhmm..." your son agreed, "and that wasn't even the best part, when we were 24 we went to a party and-" you put your hand on Draco's mouth "no no no! I think it's too early for that" you laughed and glared at Draco "anyways it's past your bed time! Come on kids" you take them to bed and go back to Draco "Draco Malfoy! What were you thinking!" you blush and pout "what? Agree we had more fun that night then when I confessed~" he wiggled his eyebrows and you blushed harder "whatever..."

He laughs and hugs you "I love you" he whispers, you smile and grin

"I love you too~"
