A Love For A Friend

WELCY SIGH AS she watches Yassy's photooshoot. She can't help but felt sorry and worried for her.

She's okay, yeah right. But she knows Yassy isn't. Pinipilit nitong maging maayos kahit na taliwas iyon sa totoong nararamdaman nito.

Tumayo siya sa kinauupuan niya at lumapit ng kaunti. Inaayusan si Yassy ng stylist nila kaya napatigil ang shoot ng kaunti.

Marahil ay napansin siya nito kaya napatingin ito sa direksiyon niya. Welcy's heart skip a beat when Yassy flashed that true and innocent smile to her. She could not help but smile too though they almost had a fight earlier.

Her phone vibrated to which distracted her. When she saw the name on the screen, she smile. Who else would it be?

"Hi, hon," she said as soon as she pressed the answer button.

"Hey, hon. How are you? Are you resting?"

"I'm fine. I'm at Cheomdeong right now."

"Cheomdeong? Why? Ano'ng meron?"

"Yassy's having a shoot. Just want to watch her. Boring kung sa dorm ako, you know me naman."

Natawa ito. "Yeah, ang kulit mo. Hindi marunong manatili sa kinaroroonan."

Welcy smile on her husband's statement. "Whatever. Napatawag ka? How's the concert there?"

"Oh its okay. We just ended actually, about 30 minutes ago. Pabalik na kami ng hotel. I was just checking on you and the baby."

"We're both okay, hon. Just focus on there. One more day and you're done," she said as she watch Yassy.

"Yeah, one more sucking day."

Natawa siya. "Ikaw naman. Isang araw na lang yan."

"Namimiss na kita eh. Haysss."

Welcy smile. "I miss you too."

"How is Yassy doing?" he ask after a few seconds of silence between them.

"I don't know, JD. She looks fine, but I know she isn't."

"I'm sure she can get over it soon enough. Just give her time, after all, it just happened a few months ago."

Welcy sigh. "Sana nga. I cannot afford to see her na bigla na lang natutulala. Hindi siya dati ganoon."

"Yassy is a grown up now, hon. I know she can handle it herslef. Konting panahon lang yan, she may be in tact again, don't worry too much," JD said.

"Sana nga. I miss the old her."

"I'll call you later. Magpahinga ka ha? I love you."

"Okay. I love you too, bye."

Nang matapos ang usapan nila ni JD ay muli niyang binalikan ng tingin si Yassy na hindi pa rin tapos na inaayusan ng stylist.

Maya-maya pa ay lumapit ito sa kanya. She was all smiles and Welcy could not help but smile to her too. It was always her and Jane who are like a happy virus in the group.

"Sinong kausap mo kanina, ate?" tanong nito nang makalapit na sa kanya sabay yakap sa kanya ng magaan.

"Si JD."

Natawa siya ng magaan nang umirap ito. "Namiss ka talaga? Dalawang araw pa nga lang kayo naghiwalay eh."

"Hayaan mo na. Wala sigurong magawa kaya tumawag. Tapos ka na ba?"

Umiling ito. "Not yet. Just a couple of minutes break. Bakit ka nakatayo? Ayon ang upuan o."

"Hindi na, gusto kong maglakad. Hindi pa naman ako pagod. Don't worry about me."

"Hay nako, bahala ka na nga."

"Yassy, ipinapatawag ka na," ani Manager Shin kaya napalingon sila dito.

"Okay. Kayo na ang bahala sa babaeng to, Manager Shin, ayaw makinig sa akin," ani Yassy.

"Ikaw talaga. Bumalik ka na doon."

Napailing na lang si Welcy nang pabirong irapan siya nito.

"I'm still not okay with Yassy having a photoshoot with Andreas, Manager Shin. I want to oppose," she said when Yassy went back to the set.

Napabuga ang handler nila ng hangin. "It will be up to her, Welcy. Kung ano man ang desisyon niya, iyon ang gagawin natin. Ayokong makialam sa kung ano man ang meron sa kanila ni Andreas. Kung trabaho, trabaho, hindi naman nila siguro ipahahalata sa iba ang kung ano man ang meron sa kanila."

"Hindi pwedeng hindi mahalata yun. Or else hindi nga lang bibigyan ng pansin ng iba."

Their handler tap her shoulder. "Let her decide. Whatever it will be, we'll support her. Stop worrying, sigurado akong alam niya ang dapat na gawin."

Tumango na lang siya. "I really hope so."

"Umupo ka na doon. Mainit na, bawal sayo."

"Okay."

Muli niyang pinagmasdan si Yassy. Kung meron man siyang gustong hilingin ay sana makapag-move on na ito sa masakit na karanasan nito sa pag-ibig.

Welcy knew it would take time, but she hoped that it will be quicker. She missed the old Yassy. It is not her what she is right now.

She's smiling, alright. But not like before. Some may not notice because they never knew, but to them who are close to her knew everything.

She really hope it will be okay for Yassy. The other members wants their youngster to be happy again.

Na ayaw mo siyang maging kagaya sayo.

Ibang usapan yun. Magkaiba ang storya ng buhay pag-ibig mo sa kanya.

Napailing na lang siya sa nila laman ng isip niya.
