Chapter 2 : Arranged Marriage

Aikira was in her room thinking about what happened today and she couldn't figure out why he pushed her away she thought her feelings and his feelings were mutual. 'Why'd he do that? Why'd he kiss me and push me away when I kissed him back? :((.

She didn't get why he would do that. But she couldn't get those thoughts out of her head. She loved him since she was eight. She knew that she loved him. But does he love her? That question she needed answered.

Aiba was walking the halls of the castle thinking about what he did. He didn't understand why he kissed her then pushed her away. 'Why'd I do that? Why'd I kiss her and push her away when she kissed me back.' He didn't get why he did that. For some reason he can't stop thinking about her. He loved her. He knew he loved her. And he knew that loved him, but it was wrong for them to be together. He was a commoner and she was a princess. She was the future ruler of the Vampire Kingdom and he was the person who' supposed to be protecting her. But she was all he could think about. When she was a little kid she was just like a little sister to him. But as the years went on the more her beauty grew and his more his love changed from brotherly love to pure love. And he couldn't explain it. He reached her door, he stopped. He was nervous about seeing her after their kiss. He was about to knock on her door when it opened.

"Aiba, What are you doing here?" she asked with a blush.

"Y--You're father wants to see you." he told her.

She walked out of door and down the hall a little whiles.

" Aikira " he said, stopping her.

"Hmm? Yes, Aiba?" she answered. Aikira turned around and looked at Aiba

"About this morning." he started.

"What about it?" she asked.

" Nothing. Forget it." he answered.

She continued walking down the hall. Aiba followed behind her.

She walked toward the main room where the throne and all of the servants were at, attending to her father's every whim.

"You wished to speak to me, father?" she said

"Yes. Aiba, you can leave us for a while. I wish to speak to my daughter alone." he said.

"Yes, Mr. Oikawa." he said and bowed then leave.

"What did you want to speak to me about, father?" she asked.

"Well, Aikira. Today is your sixteenth birthday. You're official of marrying age." he told her.

"I know that already. What'd you really want to talk to be about?"She asked again, this time angry that her father did say it out right away.

"The truth is...I've arranged a marriage." he told her.

She gasped when he said that. How could he do this? He promised me that I won't be in an arranged marriage.

"Father, what about your promise?" she asked him in a worry face :(

"Sometimes we can't keep promises. You will marry the prince of the werewolf kingdom seven months from now." he told her.

Unbeknownst to them, Aiba was listening outside the door. And for some strange reason Aiba filled with anger and jealousy. Aiba heard some coming to the door. So, he hid in the shadows as he watched Aikira burst through the door and run out of the room, crying.
