Chapter 11

Chapter 11: Lexi's POV:

After having a rough day at school decide to do the one thing that will definitely cheer me up; A Disney Marathon, like let's be real Disney rocks. I go out to the kitchen to grab all the needed supply's for the marathon.

'Popcorn – Check'

'Lollies – Check'

'Chocolate – Check'

'Ice-cream – Check'

'Chips – Check'

'Everything but the kitchen sink – Check'

I mentally check everything off my list and make my way back upstairs with my hands full of yummy snacks that I'm tempted to eat right now, before I even start the movies. I plop down all the food onto my bed and grab my MacBook air from my bedside and play the first movie; Frozen.

About 10 minutes through the first movie I hear the doorbell go off and I grudgingly go down to open it. I know it won't be my parents cause they both have a key and are going to be at the office all night because of how busy it is at the moment. It could possibly be the postman or something. deciding to not take any risks I grab the bat from the cupboard next to the door and slowly open the front door.

Before me stands the one and only Chase. Before I can ask him how he knows where I live and why he would show up, he questions. "why are you holding a baseball bat in your hands" I look down at the bat and back up at Chase and burst out laughing.

"oh you know I thought you were a thief" I reply truthfully "anyway what are you doing at my house?"

"oh you see i got super bored and you are like my only friend in town so I was thinking maybe we could hang out but I don't have your number so I asked your friend Pippy? And she gave me this address and I was like okay...? So here I am" he rambles clearly nervous. 'He is so cute right now' I think but instantly regret because I know that I can't trust anyone after what Patrick did to me.

"oh yea sure, come in" I say moving aside from the door and walking down the corridor towards the stairs. I look back to see an uncomfortable Chase and internally laugh. "if you're scared that I will bite I won't"

He loosens up a bit but still looks like he is going to poo his pants. I open the door to my bedroom and walk in and sit onto the wonderful kingdom of my bed covered in all the sweets that I prepared for my movie night before Chase came over.

He stops in the doorway and looks around. After a few moments he finally comes into the room and sits on the bed with me. He looks at the towering pile of snacks on my bed clearly unsure whether to ask about it or not. Instead of him having to ask I speak up for him. "I was having a movie night and what's a movie night without snacks but I think I went a little overboard so yea, luckily you're here though otherwise all of this food would have gone to waste"

I give him a sheepish smile which he returns with a small giggle. Yes, you heard me right he giggles, and It is probably the cutest/sexiest thing that I have ever heard. We decided to watch my ultimate Disney movie marathon, which was the best thing in the whole world as he was singing along to all of the songs, knowing the words off by heart.

At the end of the movie I look to him with the biggest grin on my face. "what" he asks his eyes wide with fear.

"what?" I ask widening my smile even more.

"that look, what's it for, do I have like ice-cream on my face?" he asks wiping his hand all over his face only making him look even weirder.

"you-have-nothing-on-your-face" I say between laughs "I was just wondering; how do you know Frozen word for word?"

He looks at me and nervously scratches the back of his head unsure of what to say. "well I have a younger sister so it's like always on and it's like my favourite movie" he mumbles the last part barely even audible.

"no flipping way" I say

"umm yea" he replies

"you are literally so much more fun to hang out with than any other person at our school, they all hate frozen, they are all like 'that's for kids' or 'that's boring'"

"seriously?"

"yea, you're like the best"

His cheeks turn a Rosie red at my comment and I start giggling. He looks at me with a questioning look and all I say in response is. "no way, the bad boy blushes" when I say this it makes him blush an even darker colour.

After I compose myself and Chase stops blushing we continue by watching a lot more Disney movies and eating a whole lot more yummy foods. My eyes start feeling heavy and before I know it, I have fallen asleep on Chases Shoulder. So that's how I spent my night...

Asleep on the bad boys shoulder.
