The sun slowly drifts behind the icy top mountains. Casting a warm glow on the the bundles of white fluff floating in the sky. I turn my head round, like a kid watching a plane fly by, as I stare at the beautiful gradient from dark storm clouds to fluffy candy floss. It's funny how in this one moment in time, there can be something so terrifying and dark, yet on the other side something so happy, careless and beautiful. I guess it's just a matter of perspective.
I continue to greatfully skip through the giant fields of Green, smiling to myself. A moment of freedom, of dignity, strength, confidence. That feeling, that if someone were to look at you, they would assume you were on drugs, and are in your own little world of rainbows and unicorns. But no, just the simple moment of beauty is all. They wouldn't understand thoes brainwashed robots who could care less about your personal well-being.
My phone rings startling me. I pull my phone out of my tight jean pocket and my heart drops.
Sweetheart
Ugh, even the names gives me the chills. She forced me to have her as 'sweetheart' and nothing less. I reluctantly put the phone against my ear, careful not to push it against too hard so I don't go deaf.
"Hey honey"
It sounded so forced, someones obviously there listening in. I can't make a fool of her.... I don't need to see the demon tonight....
"Hey sweetheart, " I say cringing....
