I looked around as soon as we got inside the haunted house booth. A guy that looks like a zombie quickly approached us.
"Good evening! How many tickets do you want for you to formally enter and have fun in this booth? One ticket would cost 250 pesos."
"Two tickets please." I casually said.
"Okay sir!" The person that looks like a zombie said as he went to the ticket section.
I shifted my gaze to my princess. She is currently busy looking at the surroundings.
"Why are you so quiet my princess?" She looked at me for a second and then she quickly looked away.
"I-I'm just looking around i-is there a problem with that weirdo?" I was about to tell her that she's acting really strange but then the zombie man handed me the tickets so I was unable to say anything. My princess went closer to pay for the tickets.
"Thank you!" The zombie man said as he walked away from us.
"Why did you pay for the tickets my princess?"
"W-What? I told you that I want to bring back the favor weirdo."
"You're already paying back the favor just by being with me my princess. I guess I'm the one who's indebted to you now. But you don't need to worry about that, I'll pay for it with my charm." I said and winked at her.
"W-What the hell are you saying?! Y-You WEIRDO!" My princess said as she punched me in my arm. I chuckled lightly while looking into her eyes. Her face turned bright red and she quickly diverted her eyes again. Huh? I just can't figure out what's wrong with her.
A few moments later, some of their crew approached us.
"A pleasant evening to the both of you!" They all said in chorus. My princess remained silent so I greeted them back with a smile.
"Well then, let's get to the point fellas. We just want to inform you that there will be some obstacles inside this haunted house. You don't need to worry because some of our staffs are going to guide you if it's necessary and if you need some instructions on how to overcome the obstacles." The guy with a mummy costume stated.
"So are you saying that the guides are only in their respective places and there wouldn't be anyone to guide our way inside the haunted house?" Good question my princess.
"Exactly! You got it right pretty lady!" A woman wearing a long black gown cheerfully told us.
"So we have to find the right way on our own. But what if we get lost inside the haunted house?" I'm glad that the staffs here are approachable.
"Well, you can use this whistle to signal us if you can't find your way out." The guy with a vampire costume handed us two whistles. "There's a string around it so you can put it like a keychain. Be sure not to lose it okay?"
"We can place it in our cell phones weirdo." I nodded in response and quickly placed mine. "But there's something bothering me weirdo. I-Is it really necessary that the whistle has a heart beside it?"
"I think it really looks beautiful, my princess. It looks like a---"
