Jimmy's p.o.v

So I ended up missing the next day as well and so did Witucki. But I'm on the bus again and let me tell you it felt like shit waking up at 6:00. But I get to see Witucki.

Once we pull in to school I start feeling nervous. I dont even see him till 2nd block, and I have art before that. Sitting in art was like drowning in quick sand, slowly and painfully. Bryce was in that class with me and thank god for that I was just about done with this class. Before I knew it the bell rang. 2nd block, oh shit Witucki. I ran to my locker put my stuff away and headed to his. I waited a little and he didn't show up. So I guess he was already at gym. I quickly ran down to the locker rooms but he wasn't there. I guess he had to stay home today and today we were dancing well I guess I'll need to dance with a girl, ew.

Witucki's pov

The bell for second block rang and I quickly packed up. I got to his locker fast, but he wasn't there. So I headed to the gym only to be stopped by Brooklyn. She is a good friend of mine, but I don't feel anything for her romantically. She asked me about the social studies test that we had awhile ago she needed to make up. If I recall it wasn't to hard. Then she heads to class. I look at the clock oh shoot, I'll be late. I race down and still dont see jimmy. I thought he would be here today. But I guess not. When I walk into the gym I see Jimmy sitting on the floor and the other kids dancing. "Oh good you're here," said the gym teacher, "looks like you'll be with Jimmy." My heart starts pounding and I feel sweaty but then I see him look over and his face lights up and he walks over all cool and hugs me. He is unusually warm. I'm guessing it's from the cold. He pulls away and with a smirk he says,"May I have this dance?" I'm taller than him so I take his hand and twirl him, he almost falls because he's not expecting it. "Sure shorty, but I lead." He is blushing like mad now. He's cute when he does that.

Jimmy's pov

What! He spun me. I currently look like a fawn that is trying to stand for the first time ever, but oh well. "You're blushing Jimmy." I look away and pout, "Well I can't help that you make me blush."

"Wait, what was that?" He asks with genuine surprise.

"Nothing now come on we have to watch the demonstration." I replied I hope he didn't hear me.

We go to the center left of the gym after watching the demonstration and with other pairs all around us I feel self conscious, but I'm a cool kid, so I have to be confident no matter what. I keep on a genuine smile, for Witucki. We get into position. He puts his hands on my waist, I can feel my face burning and a weird feeling in me. As soon as the music started he took the lead and we were dancing, I hate to admit it, but I was having fun I was dancing with my... friend. I started to frown. I wanted to be more than his friend. I...I like Witucki. But he was straight, I had no chance plus with all the girls in our school I had hard competition. I wanted to be able to claim him as my own, and kiss him, and care for him...I wish.

Witucki's pov

Jimmy's mood suddenly turned sad and bored he didn't look me in the eyes the rest of dancing. I never wanted to see him upset. I just wish he knew how much I loved him. How should I show him? Probably not at school, because he gets embarrassed easily and I would never want to humiliate him on purpose. When we are done with warm up after dance we go get changed into normal clothes. My gym locker is close to Jimmy's and I didn't mean to, but I saw him take off his shirt and damn was that boy fit. Then he looks at me. SHIT he saw me. Then I take off my shirt and catch Jimmy looking at me. He turns away blushing aw he's so cute. Then it hits me the perfect way to show Jimmy my love for him.

"Hey Jimmy wanna hang at my place after school?"
