"Pennoah!!" Bella jumps around excitedly, "Your here! Finally! Now, can we play princesses??" "We have a different idea," Noah says, glancing a look at me. I look back, puzzled. I have no idea what we are going to do.
Noah gets an old-looking purple guitar, and Bella jumps around, more excited than before. "Oh, we didn't do this in AGES!!!!" she screams.
"... What's going on?" I ask. "WAIT! Noah never told you??" Bella says loudly, looking shocked. "Noah!! How dare you?"
Noah grins for the tenth time today."I always waited for the right time.. " Noah says, "Penny, this is a dance-off... But not any dance off.." Noah gestures at Bella, who continues happily. "It's a magical, lit up VIP dance-off!" As she says so, the basement goes pitch black, and suddenly fairy lights light up the whole place: pink, light blue, neon green, purple. My mouth is open in surprise. It looks beautiful. I wish I had my camera..
Bella starts to dance as Noah sings, his husky American voice echoing around the room. Even his guitar is light up. I feel Bella take my hand. "Let's dance!" she says, and starts dancing wildly. Eventually, I join. Then the rhythm of the music makes me dance as crazily as Bella. We throw our hands in the air, without a care in the world.
