"Dad I'm glad we moved to New York" I yelled climbing into a taxi.

My mom died only four months ago, my Dad and I needed to move on. If we had stayed in Los Angeles any longer we would've never be able to leave. Since Summer just started I have three months to try and adjust before I start twelfth grade. Something's are easier than they sound none of the time.

When my Dad and I arrive at the apartment place a realtor lets us in and gives us each a key. Our things haven't arrived in New York yet so we are going to paint the place. My room will be based on dark colors like navy, black, and gray as well as all the other bedrooms. It will almost be castle like, but with all new white furniture.

Dad gave me some extra money on my debit card to go out and buy a new wardrobe. In all honesty I found a Starbucks nearby and bought clothes online. Before I left I ordered a Cool Lime Refresher and took a lead back to my new home. My Dad went out and bought paint to start painting the living room, so I picked up a roller and painted a wall opposite. After painting the living room we went to a hotel across the street to get some sleep.

My dad woke me up pretty early at 6:30 to go find paint for the rest of the house, and get back to work. By nightfall the walls of our loft should be painted and our furniture in the house at least. We just need to shop for my room in the weekend approaching.

My Dad has to go in for a couple job interviews during the week so we can't work on my room at the exact moment. Dad is a Grammy winning music producer so I know he'll get a job within the next day or two.

Going through the week the city view apartment has electricity, water, newly painted walls, and furniture. I have a free day to do whatever so I'm going to get used to 5th Avenue in New York City.

Let me tell you about where I live, in this particular building the higher the floor the more expensive the apartment is. We are lucky enough to live on the twenty-fifth floor of a twenty-sixth floor building. The floor above ours is the penthouse and it was already taken.

Living with my Dad is the best thing ever it helps us bond and get closer as a family, he's always with me even when he's not. Thinking of my Dad makes me want to end my day on 5th Avenue and find my way back home. I turn down a road not able to see where I even am, it's dark out so I don't even think I went down a road. I just entered a maze of creepy alleyways with fire escapes and dumpsters housing abandoned black cats.

I turn around to run but I see a guy silhouette not much older than me standing under a streetlight. When I turn to go the other way a large handsome man catches me and I can't run. All I can do is calm myself, breathe and wait till they...

*Unknown Boy POV*

She was trespassing; my job was to block the exit for the girl. My guardian Jayden a high school senior gang leader... Very dangerous or he can be, just know him before you enter his alleyway. Because none of us that saw her first know who she is we have to knock her out with chloroform and take her back to my apartment. This girl will not leave until Jayden doesn't see her as a threat or an unknown. She is bridal style carried up the fire escape to the window of the apartment.

As men take the girl up the fire escape to the twenty-third floor, I enter through the building front doors and take the elevator up. When I get to the apartment on the twenty-third floor I help the boys on the fire escape bring the girl the rest of the way up, quickly as possible. Once all the way into the loft we tie sleeping beauty to a chair for the time being, until she's awake, It didn't take a long time for the girl to wake up, only ten minutes after she was tied up. As soon as she was aware the questions started rolling off of Jaydens smooth tongue.
