I slowly watched the clock, counted down the minutes till I get to leave this hell for good. The smell of dusty books and the sound of chalkboards and lectures will be gone. That's right it's my last year at Howard's high school. 16 minutes and 34 seconds.

"Mrs. Bradley are you going to answer the question?" My old English professor asked looking at me with a stern look. "I'm sorry what was that?" I asked her politely and everyone laughed. "Oh never mind. Jeremiah can you answer why Shakespeare is known as a legendary writer?" She looked at him with a look that basically said please know it. "Let me look it up." He answered pulling out his phone.

"You guys are hopeless. I taught you this from the beginning of the school year and you guys don't remember.. Just cause it's almost Summer doesn't me you guys still aren't in school now." She sighed turning around to sit in her desk. 8 mins and 21 sec remaining...

I turned around to face my best friend Ellie, "Almost time to say goodbye to this forever." I smiled proudly. Don't get me wrong I'm going to miss it but I can't handle this place anymore. "So sleepover tonight? Your place?" Ellie laughed knowing it's always our routine to sleep over my house on the last day of school. "Of course." I replied laughing.

Ellie has been my friend since 1st grade. She stood up for me when I was getting bullied, I trust her with everything I have. Us two together is catastrophic. Ellie ran her hands through her long dark purple hair.

"3 minutes 12 seconds." Ellie rested her head on the desk and grunted. The last three minutes went by so slow but then the bell rang and we all ran out of the school in joy. We met our other friends Jack and Michael by my Mustang.

"We are out!" I exclaimed. We all sat around for the next half hour and talked about out summer plans. Jack and Michael are going to go visit some family. They both are twins but not identical. Jack has blonde hair and blue eyes with his tan skin. He's also athletic while Michael has brown hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. He's more of a bad boy out of them. They both have nice bodies not gonna lie.

Ellie is going to New York to go visit her dad and visit some art schools. Me? What am I doing? I get to stay in this little town of Oceanville and figure out what to do in the mean time. Everyone knows what they are doing in life then there's me..

I hugged Jack and Michael goodbye and said I would see you soon. Ellie hopped in the passenger side of the car and we rode off with the top down. We went down the road  that my house is on and when I pulled in there was no car in the driveway meaning mums not home. I walked in and saw a note:

Dear  Trinity,
Im going to be gone for the next few days, please behave. No more parties please.
I love you
Mum

"Wait does that mean I can stay for as long as she's gone?" Ellie smirked. "Yes it does!!" I smiled. THIS IS GOING TO BE SO FUN!! "Party?" She looked at me evilly. "Yes party, tomorrow 9 pm." I answered planning the party. Its going to be the best end of the school year party that there is. We let everyone know and told them to spread the word.

"Hey what's goin on with the house next door?" Ellie looked out the window. "Oh that's the Lane family house, they come every summer but the last 6 years they haven't been here. Remember I was close to their one son?" I explained.

"Oh ya! Now I remember! Well looks like they're back.." She looked from me to the window back to me. I ran to the window to realize that what she said was true. The Lane family was back again.
