The villian and a part of his past

He um, a while ago I edited a chapter or two and forgot to tell you all. so give the book a re read please, or some of you maybe very confused.

~ Lewis' P.O.V ~

She fell towards the ground faster and faster. I started freaking out because I thought she was gunna hit splat on the ground. at the last second she got out a portal gun and shot at the ground under her and disappeared.

" Was that my bacon gun?!" panda asked. great. she has a portal gun.

" See ya never again! I'm free!" I heard her shout from behind. I turned and saw her running in the opposite direction before disappearing into the ground. about 2 seconds later a cage flings up from the ground with her inside. out of nowhere ridge lands on the cage with a bucket of water and tips it on her, causing her to black out.

" Great work ridge, now bring her here!" I shout out to him. he looks at my direction before flying over to us via jet pack, leaving the cage behind.

" Ridge, what are you doing? bring her here!" I commanded. an evil smile crept across his face.

" I'm afraid I can't do that." he said. he got out a walky talky and bran it to his mouth.

" The evidence is in the steel cage in the field. Retrieve with the diamond tether." he said. soon after an air ship {a bit like the hellicarrier from avengers} emerges from behind a nearby forest and lowers a diamond tether down, hooks up with the cage that has kit in it, and brings her up into the ship.

" Ridge, why is that thing taking kit?!" I asked in a panic.

" Because she is our evidence. allow me to introduce myself properly. I am commander ridgedog, captain of squadron 7 of the governments science crime devision. about 10 years ago one of your droids from yoglabs was caught trying to steal some of the governments equipment. we tried to tracked down your facility to arrest you but we couldn't find it. until about 8 years ago when I accidentally came across something... interesting. you should remember that day, so I won't go into the details about that." he said.

it took me a second to understand what day he was talking about, but then I remembered.

" From there we followed you, further and further away from civilisation, until you brought us here. I was chosen to stay behind while the others went back to the mainland. from there I met you, and gained your trust. a few years go by and I start to loose hope that I will find any evidence that you are commuting illegal scientific acts, until one faithful night at honeydew inc when a little girl with Snow White hair and cat features appears from a nether portal. for... personal reasons I tried to kill her, but my superiors strongly advised me not to after a few attempts. But know we have her, and we will take her to the mainland to show the government that you should be arrested. I WOULD arrest you right here, but the law strictly says that evidence must be shown to the government before any arrestments can take place. now, if you excuse me, I have an airship to catch." and with that he was off, flying up to the airship.

Silence filled the air. we were all shocked that ridge was a traitor this entire time.

" So that's it? were never gunna see her again?" Simon asked sorrowfully, breaking the silence.

"No, we have to get her back. we will get her back. and I have a plan." I said.

" Rythian, you can read her mind. How?" I asked rythian.

" Magical beings can communicate via telepathy, but it doesn't work very well for her because of her science." he explained.

" Great. Duncan, Rythian, I want you two to work together and make a communicator that is both science and magic." I commanded. They both gave me an odd look, then looked at each other, then back at me.

" Lewis, I don't think you know exactly what you just asked us to do." Duncan said.

" I know exactly what I just said, and I know about your past, but you two can just get over it just for a little while so we can save kit. and by the way, kit is proof that science and magic can work fine together, so don't give me any of the crap about it not going to work." I said. the two gave each other a glance before giving in.

" Alright. follow me to where you guys will make it. the rest of you try and stall the ship, we can't let it go anywhere." I said. rythian and Duncan followed me into the bunker I made and they got to work as I started working on both this plan and a back up plan.
