Chapter 1 ~ Sam's birthday

Sam POV

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY FINALLY! I been waiting for a long time for my birthday to come am now 14 years old but I look like am 13 or 12 years old which I hate.

I got up and dressed. I went down stairs and saw my mom and dad sitting down watching TV.

"Hi mom and dad "I smiled "hello son"they said as it was a normal day. I felt sad they forgot my birth day my bunny ears went down.

"Are you okay? "my dad asked "yeah am fine"I said as I look down. I heard a knock on the door I went and open it. It was my friends "hey guys what are you guys doing here? "I asked "we are just here to ask if you went to hang with us? "Grian asked "sure why not I'll be right back mother and father"I said "OKAY! "they yelled.

I grabbed my stuff and went out. We all walked to the park to hang out.
I saw a lot of kids playing around with there families and some.... Celebrating their birthdays.

"wow, that boy is having fun in his birthday "J said as we all look at them. "yeah... "I said "I feel am forgetting something"Yuki said "me too but what is it? "Grian asked.

My bunny ears went up and I smiled. "oh yeah I forgot today me and family are going out for dinner"Grian said my ears went down again... They forgot my birthday too.

"oh... "I sadly said sometimes I wish I had a best friend that always remembers my birthdays each year.

"Sam are you okay? You look little down"Yuki ask/said "yeah and fine"I said, looking down.

"oh look we need to go bye sam"they said "but we just go h-"I notice they were already gone. I sighed I sat down on one of the benches and look at everyone who was playing. 

I looked at the beautiful blue sky. I close my eyes "happy birthday to me..... Happy birthday...  To...... Me"I whispered and felt a tear roll down my cheek.

I wiped it away I got up from the bench and walked home since it w as getting boring.

Once I made it to my house I open the door and close it behind me it was all dark why is it so dark?.

Then out of nowhere the lights turn on and people pop out yelling "SURPRISE!. "

Wow, I wrote this while I was listening to the happy birthday song in Spanish xD.
