The Hallway

          Everything was blurry, white whisps were everywhere. I felt as though someone was strangling me. I felt dizzy. It has been happening for the past 7 years now, and somehow I still wasn't used to it, but my anxiety had been getting worse. I could faintly hear my best friend Heath whispering "Kassandra! You alright?" 'Just breathe and it will go away'. "Miss Hernandez, are you okay?", I heard my biology teacher, Mr. Whitley, say. I gasped for air as every head turned to me. I ran out of the classroom, and into the hallway, not replying. I ran through the abandoned hallway, Heath right behind me, for what seemed like forever, I got to the school doors, but I didn't even have the energy to open them. I just sat there breathing heavy, as I felt tears running down my cheeks. I felt him embrace me, calming me down. Eventually the panic attack ended, but I was still shuddering. "Hey, Hey, it's over and done with", he said. "Ok-kay", I sputtered. His gorgeous blue eyes looked into my big brown ones.' He's so cute', i thought . 'Got dammit Kassandra, he's your friend, stop'.

          Heath and I are really good friends, we've known each other since 6th grade. I had gone to La Paloma Academy, but I had to transfer to Bristol Middle School for one of my uncle's work projects. We met there. I was new and I didn't know anyone. He was just a geeky kid I happened to make friends with during my first drama period. I had other friends, but I wasn't as close to any of them as I was to Heath. He had changed a lot since we first started hanging out. He was more open and creative now. He's the kindest, funniest , smartest person I've met. I guess I've always kinda liked him, but I just brushed it off. I never really payed much attention to it. We've been hanging out a lot more lately, seeing how I just moved into a small apartment, alone. Now I didn't have my Auntie and Uncle never letting me go out. I had lived with them for the past 11 years of my life. Why? That was a bruttle story.

A/N: Hi my Sprinkles! I really hope you liked the first chapter of my book Queen Bee. I'll probably be changing the title soon, because I realized the title doesn't really go with the story. Also, most chapters will be this size. I know the chapters are very short, but I don't have enough time in my week. I will make chapters longer occasionally. I will also have other P. O. V. , but them main P. O. V. is Kassandra. FUN FACT: Kassandra Hernandez is my awesome sister. This book was a birthday present to her, and I'm not sure how long I'll continue it. If your confused with the main characters so far, here:

Kassandra: Female, short, brown eyes, brown hair, [gorgeous], narrator of the story, main character

Heath: Male, tall, blue green eyes, brown hair
