It landed at his friend Andrew's house, just off Tenth Street. He'd been there many times, but only once under this circumstance. Andrew's parents didn't want that "silly" boy around the house. If they found out he was a time traveler, they wouldn't even let him in. But because he needed some place to go where he was safe and away from the malfunctions of the Earth Machine, he stayed.
Jone checked the Earth Machine, he had landed on the exact day on which the Earth Machine had malfunctioned. He hid it behind an oak tree in the backyard where some logs set. He couldn't let Andrew's parents know he was here. Andrew's parents didn't in such things which Jone believed or did.
The house was much like Jone's, it had more style and it also had three stories. The parents of Andrew are wealthy, just as all people are on Tenth Street.
With the Earth Machine hidden in the backyard behind a tree, Jone started towards the tall, red brick house.
Mr. McMahon, Andrew's father, opened the door.
"Well, hello Wells, beautiful weather and quite a coincidence. We were just discussing you."
"Me?"
"Yes, of course. We talk about you all the time."
"I hope good things are said."
"Mostly."
With this short conversation, Jone walked into the warm house, which made up for the cold, but beautiful fall weather.
As the leaves outside blowed in the wind, Jone drink the cup of tea he was given. He added sugar.
Andrew walked into the living area from upstairs.
"Hey, Jone!" Said Andrew
"Hello, Andrew."
"Have you by any chance met my cousin?"
"Your cousin, who?"
"Trenton McMahon."
"I don't know him."
"He's from Florida."
"Where is he?"
"He's upstairs, we were down here talking perhaps about inviting you over, just as we used to when we were younger."
"I might stay, I've had quite a crazy night."
"Really!" Said Mr. McMahon. "What happened?"
"I really can't explain what happened."
Jone couldn't really explain anything right now, as the parents would think he's crazy. They're just normals. Normal people. Living in a normal house.
"See Andrew, you really should find some new friends. Ones who don't imagine as much."
"But dad!"
"Let me call my parents," said Jone, pulling out his cellular phone.
Jone looked at the screen of his cellular, he had one new message from Sylvia Wells. Which he listened to. She said the following words with Mr. Wells.

"We don't know how much more of this we can take. Jone it's been two years since you last left, the world still remembers you in their memories. If you shall hear this message, come back home, please."

Two years! Two years since Jone went away with the malfunctioning Earth Machine!
He had landed in the right place, but landed in a different time. After all, he could tell that Andrew looked older. His cousin, Trenton, came downstairs.
"Andrew! Do you want to hear some music from my piano."
"Yeah, one minute."
"Who's that sitting on the couch there?" Trenton asked.
"It's Jone Wells," Andrew said. "I thought you'd met before."
"He does look familiar," said Trenton.
Jone didn't think so. Jone didn't even know anyone by the name of Trenton.
"I don't think that I know you, but hello."
"Hello Jone."
"I really don't think I can stay tonight. It would be great of course, but I really-"
"No, just no, Jone, you need to stay," Andrew said.
"Really, I can't. I have plans...plans with my family."
"No," Mr. McMahon said. "Andrew is right. You need to stay."
"Why? Why is it a big deal if I stay?"
"No, really, you need to stay."
Everyone started to tell Jone why he needed to stay with the McMahon family.
"QUIET!" Trenton shouted. "Jone, we cannot tell you why you need to stay. And it is important that you aren't told by anyone. It could mess everything up for you, and your whole future. We didn't even want you to know about the first time. Sure, you go back to your parents house, and you live happily ever after. But I've seen the consequence once, and I won't dare live it again. I know that you're a couple of years away from that of your parents, but leaving now will have its consequence. Perhaps you could stay tonight, we will find another way out of this situation. You'll be back to your parents in safety in a number of hours."
"Alright," Jone said. "Just help be get back to my parents."
"I'll try my best," Trenton said.
