The Little Red Box

Orlaith(Orla) POV
I walked through the hallway to my class.As I entered,a red little box was on my table.I rushed to my table and opened it.I smiled as a beautiful shining necklace appeared in my sight.
"You like it?" asked someone from the back.I flinched a little but then heaved a relief as Jungkook was the person that greeted me.
"Yah,you make me shock!" I hit his shoulder and he just laughed.
"You like it?" asked Jungkook.
"Of course! Gomawo,Kookie-ah!"
"Nae!" He smiled but it slowly faded.I noticed it and felt weird.
"Jungkook,waeyo? Do you have any problem?" I asked him but he just shook his head.
"Hey,let's meet at the mall this weekend." I put my fingers on my chin,thinking if I have any schedule that day.
"Hmm...okay.But before lunch,okay?!"
"Nae!" He smiled his bunny teeth to me and I just smiled.
"Now,let me put the necklace on you." He wore it on my neck and kept the little box in his bag.

Weekend
Jungkook POV
"Ah~ I can wait to meet her!" He always looked at the big watch in the living room.As the clock strucked to 12,he hurriedly went out from the house.
"Jungkook,you don't want to lunch first?" asked his mother,Mrs Jeon.
"Gwenchana omma.I will have a lunch outside with Orla."
"Okay then.Be careful and have fun."
"Nae omma.Jaljayo!" He waved his hands before ran to my house.
I was wearing my clothes when Jungkook rang the doorbell.Not forget the necklace that he gave me.I let my hair free from any tying.My clothes were simple,a red shirt with black shorts.That's enough for me.
"Chakkaman!" I wore my black Converse before opened the door.
"Kajja!" I smiled before following him.
"Where are we going first?" I asked him.
"How about a movie first.Then we can have a lunch together." I nodded,agreed with him.
"Wait!"
"Waeyo?!" I asked him.His eyes scanned me from above to below.
"We are matching!" I looked at my clothes then his clothes.We burst into laughter.
"It's look like we're having a date!" He said excitedly.He wore a red Polo shirt with black jeans and also a pair of black Converse.
I just smiled.As we entered the cinema,a male workers greeted us and asked if we're a couple.I shook my head.
" But,both of you wear matching clothes!" He said.
" It just a coincidence.We're just bestfriends." said Jungkook and I nodded.The worker smiled before showing us our seat.
"Sorry." said the worker.
"Gwenchana." Jungkook and I said in sync.We looked at each other and laughed.
"Well,you have a good chemistry." said the worker before he walked away.Both of us just looked at each other and let out an awkward laugh.
The movie started and I felt scared because it was a horror one.I kept facepalmed myself and hearing Jungkook's laugh everytime I screamed.
When the movie finished,I hurriedly went out and left Jungkook behind.
"Yah,Orla.Chakkaman!" He ran to me and hugged my waist with his right hand.My heartbeats increased made my face red.
"Don't mad at me.Now let me buy you ice-cream,okay?!" I nodded and we went to buy some ice-cream.We sat at an empty bench in the middle of the mall and ate.
I laughed suddenly because he's eating his ice-cream like a five years old kid.
"Wae?" asked Jungkook.I took a sheet of tissue before slowly wiped his face.
"Eat slowly.You're eating like a kid." He just smiled and nodded.After that,we went for a lunch and a little shopping then walked home.
"Orla,I have something to tell you." He said when we arrived at my house.I lifted my left eyebrow and stared at him in the eyes.
"I'm gonna leave to Seoul tomorrow.That's why I want to spend my time with you today." He said.My smile slowly faded and gone.I took a deep breath as I can feel a lump in my throat.
"But,why?" Tears pooled in my eyes.
" You know what I want to be,right?! I go there to achieve my dreams." He said.I forced myself to smile at him.
"Then go." I said.He lifted his head and looked at me in disbelief.
" You want for me to go?" He asked.I nodded.
"Go and achieve your dreams.But you need to promise me."
"What is it?" asked Jungkook.
"Promise that you wouldn't forget me." I said and he nodded.He pulled me into his warm embrace.
"I'm gonna miss you so badly,Orla." He said.
"Me too." We just stared at each other before he bid me his last goodbye.Now,I'm gonna be alone at school.No one gonna play with me,doing homeworks with me and no one gonna console me anymore.I'm sure I'm gonna miss him so badly.I heaved a sigh before walked into my house.As I entered my room,tears escaping my eyes and I cried.I don't know how to facing tomorrow and the next day without him.
