Robert "Meek" Williams

"Thanks for watching the girls for me ma."

"No problem Robert. I love watching them. They're sweet girls. I did their hair too for dance.", Kathy said and I nodded.

"Thank you again. Girls!"

They ran to the car and I kissed Kathy's cheek then went to the car. I made sure the girls were buckled in and got in.

"You two ready?"

"Yes!"

-

I pulled up to my house and got out. I helped the girls get out and I grabbed their stuff. I looked at Heaven and saw her bun messed up.

"Dang. I don't know how to redo it either. We gotta go back to grandmas."

Onika "Nicki" Maraj

I walked to my car then heard somebody say something.

"Dang. I don't know how to redo it either. We gotta go back to grandmas."

I looked and saw my neighbor and his two little girls. I put my stuff in my car and walked over to them.

"Hi, you probably don't know me but I'm your neighbor, Nicki."

"I'm Meek.", he said and I nodded.

"I'm Malaysia!"

"And I'm Heaven!"

I squatted down to the level and smiled.

"You two are very pretty. I'm Nicki."

"You're pretty too!", they both said.

I stood up so I was looking at Meek and he looked me up & down.

"I could do Heaven's bun over again. I'm a hair stylist."

"You don't have too. I can go over to my mom's real quick."

"I insist. Come on."

We walked up to the porch and I unlocked the door. Walking in behind them, I turned on the lights and went in the living room.

"This is nice. How long you been living here?"

"I moved here 2 years ago. A little bit after my birthday.", I said and he nodded.

I sat down on the couch and put a pillow down in between my legs.

"Come here and sit down ladybug."

She ran over to me and sat down.

"Her hair is long. Wow. Both of their hair is long."

I started on her hair and 5 minutes later, I was finished.

"Did I do a good job?"

He looked at her and nodded.

"Thank you."

"No problem. Do you do their hair?"

"Nah, I take them to my moms. It's easier that way."

"Well to make it easier for you, here."

I got up and got one of my business cards and handed it to him.

"I pass by you every morning. Aight. I'll keep you in mind.", he said and I nodded.
