SEPTEMBER 12TH
Yesterday was just a day full of cuddling and eating junk food and watching movies all day, which was the best way to just relax and get Andrew's mind off of the slump that he's been in.
Today I only had one class and that was my last English class for my degree. It was at 3 so I had all morning and most of the afternoon to hang out with Andrew. He's taking me on a date tonight, so I couldn't wait for that. I got up around 8 and got changed into a tank top and shorts and dragged Andrew with me to the gym to work out.
During my workout, my advisor had called me to come see her in her office at 12 so, once we were done, we went back to the apartment so I could shower and get ready. (Picture in media)
I grabbed my bag and kissed Andrew goodbye and told him I would see him later because my advisor is where my class is so I'm just going to stay there and do some work instead of going there and coming back.
I walked across campus and finally reached the building and went right in and went into my advisor's office. I sat down in her office and waited for her to come.
"Well good afternoon Kristen how are you?" She said. I smiled at her. "I'm good. You?" "I'm good and I've got good news for you today." I wonder what this could be.
"Well lets hear it!" I said eager to know what it is. "Well after this semester you're done. You can graduate in December." She said with a smile. "Really?" I asked, I didn't think that this was going to happen.
"Well you have enough credits to finish your year out and you have enough to complete your degree and someone has told me that you're going to be the Social Media Correspondent for the Red Sox this coming season, so since you already have that job, the Dean has been talking about letting you go a semester early."
Wow I honestly think this wasn't going to happen, but score! "Oh well thank you so much! But what does this mean for my gymnastics career here?" I asked really curious. "Well, you won't be able to travel for the meets anymore, but I'm sure that's okay with you because you get to go to spring training for the team and start your job there." She said with a smile.
She was right, I really didn't mind not going with the team anymore, but I was thankful to be graduating early. I filled out some paperwork and then we called it a day and then I went to go call my parents and they were ecstatic about it and so was Andrew.
3 came fast and I was in class, thinking about everything that has gone down in the past 2 hours and I couldn't be more happy with where my life was at right now.
Once my class was over, it was around 5 and I went back to the apartment to find Andrew asleep in my bed and I smiled and woke him up and then I started to get ready for our date. I put on a blue dress with nude heels and did some curls in my hair and did my makeup and Andrew had on a black top and black pants.
We went off and he took me to some nice steakhouse and it was delicious. "So how excited are you to be graduating early?" He asked on the way home. "I'm way too excited for it. I've worked so hard for this and it's good to know it's finally paying off."
He smiled at me and once we parked, he gave me the sweetest kiss ever. "I'm so proud of you for this babe, I love you and can't wait to spend more time with you." He said and I smiled. "I can't wait either babe."
I couldn't believe that I was graduating the school of my dreams early and got the job of my dreams and I got the guy of my dreams, what could be better?
