Prologue:
6th October 2013.
The morning of the concert arrived. Not just any concert, the one direction concert. Emma and Aubree have counted down from the second they got their tickets; and let's just say, the tickets went in sale almost a year beforehand. They both looked like a mess as they had been staying up all night memorizing every word from every song. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for them and they wanted to look their best. Within hours, the two were dressed in new clothes and their hair went from a complete birds nest to not even a hair out of place. Hours passed slowly, but the swirling excitement of it all still remained. Right up until the second they left for the arena, they talked about what it would be like to meet the 5 boys, their idols. If only...
*Aubree's POV*
BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP
My alarm clock beeps, echoing through the entire room. I almost roll over and go back to bed, that is until I remember what today is. The one direction concert. Excitement ripples through my body.
"Emmaaaa!!" I say dragging out the last letters, "come on wake up! The concert is today!"
Her head pops up from the pillow and shoots me a grin. I can't help but laugh at her long blonde hair sticking out in every direction. I'm sure my hair doesn't look any better though. We both rush to the bathroom to start fixing our hair and makeup. I can't help but smiling as I apply the makeup to my face. This is the moment I've been waiting for ever since 2010. I've always been huge fans of the 5 lads ever since they were put together on the Xfactor.
I straighten my brown hair and let it cascade down my back, my makeup is quite simple but still pretty. We both picked out our dresses together, Emma's dress is a lime knees length dress whilst mine is a short floral dress with short sleeves. I smile widely at my best friend as she pulls me into a hug. This is already the best day of my life, and the concert hasn't even started. I slip on my black converse and we exit the flat and hop into my red car, making our way towards to arena
*Emma's POV*
I gaze at the mirror...
I really can't believe this day has finally arrived, I have been basically been waiting for moment my whole life. I stand next to my best friend Aubree; she really has been there for me all the time, through all the tough times and every single happy memory.
I stand in the mirror and look at the reflection blonde hair with a braid running on the top of my head with my hair is loose curls, travelling down my back. A lime coloured knee length dress that compliments my green eyes. Some freckles running across my nose and a huge smile. Both Aubree and I applied little make up and some pink lipstick and slipped on flats. Aubree looks amazing the way her bright blue eyes always shine and her lame jokes always but a smile on my face.. I turn to me best friend and give her a huge hug, I really can't imagine life with out her.
As I press play on my iPod and let any one direction song play. I really hear out the words and let them sink in. My ultimate dream is just to say how much they have changed everyone's life by just a couple of words to stay strong.
I turn back to Aubree and my neves start kicking in OMG, OMG ONE DIRECTION CONCERT HERE WE COME !!!!
