Strings of my heart

My breath hitched when his fingers lightly brushed against mine sending electric wave down my spine as he showed me the chord on the guitar. "Your fingers have to reach here in order for the note to be in tune," the blonde haired boy told me softly. His  soft blue eyes locked with mine. "Okay," I exhaled, releasing a nervous breath I didn't know I was holding. "Spencer! I need to come help me with these sound booth cords. I cannot figure out which goes where!" Barb exclaimed. " Hold on I'll be there in a sec!" he shouted at his friend. "Keep on playing, I will be right back."he turned back around to face me. "Okay" I said with a major voice crack causing him to giggle as he walked out. 'Great Job, dipshit,' I whisper to myself. I look at my feet and sigh, playing a few off key chords. 'Man I really need these lessons.'I hear footsteps, looking up to see Spencer making his way towards me. "Sorry about that Jonathan, I had to help my friend." He stated. "It's okay," i answered combing my hand through my light brown hair. "So where were we, " Spencer said, sighing softly. " Uh, I-I think that you were explaining the hand positions of this chord," I explained. He turned back to the guitar and started to show me the cord. " Alright the easiest cord are basic is ACDEG."the blond boy said as he strung at the dark brown acoustic guitar. "Okay that seems easy enough." I thought to my self.  "Okay now can you play that for me"? " Yeah I can do that, so I place my my finger here and u-um here, then strum correct"? " Yes perfect now just play." I strummed the guitar, feeling the vibrations in the cords send out gorgeous sound from the instrument throughout the room. " Oh my God I did it !" I yelled out as Spencer laughed at me. " Yeah you did great job." He congratulated me with a amazing smile. " If you keep up the hard work you can learn many more chords. It will probably take 2 months, are you up to this"? "HELL YEAH!" "Sweet." Thats how it all started.
