"A lot of people don't want to make their ow decisions. They're too scared. It's much easier to be told what to do." - Marilyn Manson.

I walked down the road next to Lilly with a coffee in hand. We were silent most of the time, taking little sips of our beverages. The quiet wasn't at all awkward, it was very comfortable, actually; I didn't mind it. She would look around frequently, observing the city, drinking the new atmosphere in. I watched her intently, intrigued.

She caught me staring and smiled. "Like what you see?"

I laughed, bumping my shoulder with hers. "Oh yeah." I said sarcastically.

"What was the deal with that guy earlier?" She suddenly asked, glancing in my direction. I sighed, keeping my gaze on my feet as we walked.

"We used to be involved, I suppose you could say. But then I found out that the only reason he even kissed me was to make his girlfriend jealous."

Lilly made a disgusted face, shaking her head. "What a douchebag. You obviously deserve a lot better than that twat." I laughed at her remark.

"Thanks." I replied, taking a sip of my steaming coffee. She took a deep breath, linking her arm with mine. I looked down at her.

"What you need is a night out. To forget about the heartbreak and remember that life doesn't end after; there's still some fun out in the world!" She yelled, making dramatic hand gestures; "So how about it?"

"Well, what were you thinking about?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"One word: Clubbing." She giggled, grabbing my arm and dragging me down the street in a hyper manner. I tried keeping up, but kept tripping over my own feet.

"Lets goooooo!" She screamed, tugging at my arm.

"Okay, okay. Slow down, though!" I laughed. This should be interesting.
