It was a normal day in the feudal era.Well as normal as it was going to get.
The Shikon group were on their way to the next village to hopefully settle down for the night, Inuyasha and Kagome already fighting as they approached.
Kagome's P.O.V
"INUYASHA! ALL I ASKED, WAS IF WE COULD STOP FOR THE NIGHT? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT?!" I yelled.
I mean, really? Why does he have to be so uptight? Is it a crime to want to stop for a good night's rest? Like come on, we're human for all that's holy!
"Inuyasha, Lady Kagome is right, we should rest for the night. What if we encounter Naraku? we need to be at full strength if we intend to fight back."
Thank you Miroku, maybe he'll listen to what were telling him.
"Keh, fine, but we leave first thing in the morning. Got it?"
Yes! one point for Kagome and friends, zero for Inuyasha the baka.
"Thank you Inuyasha, now Sango, wanna go to the hot springs with me?" I asked her.
"Yes Kagome, I would love to." We were about to go when Shippo came up to me "Mamma, can I come to?" He asked with his best puppy face.
"Of course Shippo, let's go and boys, you stay here. Got it?" They both nodded. After that, me, Sango and Shippo went to the hot springs for some relaxing.
p.o.v
The three of them went to the hot springs where it was peaceful. Then Sango asked Kagome a something she wasn't prepared for.
"Kagome, do you... um, do you still love Inuyasha?" Kagome looked at Sango, her eyes full of sadness. Shippo stopped what he was doing and looked at Kagome. "Mamma?" Shippo asked as he swam over to her, Kagome didn't say anything for a while. Then, after a minute, she said with her voice tinged with sadness and anger:
"Sango, to tell you the truth I used to love him. Then I realized that Inuyasha will never see me as me, he'll only see me as Kikyo. I got tired of waiting for him to see that I am more than a copy of Kikyo. So, I decided to stop thinking that Inuyasha was my lover and that's it, I guess." Sango understood her friends feeling now, so if Inuyasha tries to play with Kagome's emotions, then he is going to die by her hand.
"OK Kagome, I get it. Why don't me and Shippo head back to camp and you can have some alone time?" Sango said. Kagome looked up at her and nodded.
"Thank you Sango, you're the best." Sango just smiled, then her and Shippo left Kagome to her thoughts.
Kagome's P.O.V
Since nobody's here, maybe I should sing again. Although, I should first get out of the hot springs and into some clothes. After I got changed, I left the hot springs and went to a clearing not too far from camp. I sat down and began to sing.
Sesshomaru's P.O.V
"Lord Sesshomaru!!!" That annoying little imp called, why do I keep him with me?
"What is it Jaken?"
"I was wondering, why do you bring this little human girl with us? Shouldn't we just dump her off at the next village?"
"Are you questioning my motives Jaken?"
"O...of course n...not Mi-Lord, please forgive my rudeness."
I can't get rid of Rin she's the only one that's not afraid of me, so why would I - what that noise. It's coming for over there. It smells like my baka of a half-brother's wench.
"Jaken look after Rin."
"Ye...yes Lord Sesshomaru. May I ask were you're going?"
"No, you may not."
(At the clearing – Nobody's P.O.V)
When Sesshomaru got there, he saw Kagome sitting on a rock. He didn't want her to sense his presence so he hid it. I wonder what she is doing here and all by herself to...
Kagome then looked up at the sky and began her singing. Unaware that the lord of the west was watching her.

Sesshomaru looked closely at Kagome's neck where there was a necklace with a blue crescent moon and a galaxy gem in the middle. Sesshomaru's eyes went wide.
H...how did she get that necklace?!? That's the necklace I gave to my Leannan a hundred years ago, before she disappeared and now I see this human wench has it!*
Sesshomaru was furious and he was going to find out why this girl has that necklace.
