Tate is 16, has shoulder length dark brown hair that was usually curled (whenever she felt like feeling fancy) and she has dark blue eyes. Creslie is 19, has long red hair, pale skin, and no freckles. And she green eyes. Creslie took in Tate and let her live in her apartment with her because she's known Tate since she was 13, and she knows what a difficult life Tate's had.
"Do we really have to go out today? Today is my hobo day." Tate said. "Hobo day?" Creslie replied. "My day where I can stay at home and be lazy" Tate said. She threw herself onto her bed and covered her head with her pillow. "You have to come with me. Pleasee? I get lonley and I need someone to talk to." asked Creslie. Tate lifted the pillow from her head, "Ugh. Fine." She stumbled out of her room and down the apartment stairs to get to Creslie's car.
Tate could care less what people thought of her. She's always been confident, but she's always been shy. Afraid of rejection and abandonment just like what happend with her parents. She can't afford to wear what she would like to, so her wardrobe is sweatpants, old t-shirts, and old sneakers.
Creslie took Tate out to McDonalds. The dollar menu was their best friend. "Do you want anything?" Creslie asked. "No. I'm not feeling the best. Maybe we can come back later and I'll get something." Tate replied. Creslie ordered a cheeseburger and they sat down at a table. "Anything new with you?" Creslie asked, "Parties, boyfriends, books? Anything?" "You really think I have a boyfriend?" Tate said, "Funny." "Hey, you never know. Your prince charming could be riding on his horse, coming to get you now." said Creslie. Tate looked at Creslie, "Well my prince must be caught in a river or something because he isn't coming any time soon." Creslie rolled her eyes.
