Gynos

Zatanna and Kaldur ventured through the cave.

"So you were never evil?" Zatanna asked.

"Of course," Kaldur relaxed, "I would never think of myself in that way. Ever."

"But, how did you pull it off? For almost two years?"

"Deep cover," Kaldur noted, "Working with Manta was rough, but I am glad I was able to betray him and the Light. And, to finally be back with the Team."

A charge came from the end of the tunnel. Kaldur whipped out his water swords and Zatanna's eyes glowed, "Ezeerf!"

The incoming charge paused, "Etanimulli!" Zatanna yelled.

The tunnel glowed. Superboy, along with a herd of Gynomorphs, were frozen in place.

"Oh, my bad, Odnu," Zatanna pointed at Superboy and the Gyno's when she said it. They unfroze.

"Zatanna!" Superboy smiled.

"Man, it's great to see everyone!" Zatanna cheered.

"M'gann and Garfield are upstairs, if you wish to see them too," Kaldur pointed out. Zatanna snapped her finger, and the three were with M'gann and Garfield.

"Connor!" M'gann cheered as she grasped Superboy, "Thank you, Kaldur."

M'gann noticed Zatanna, "Zatanna!"

M'gann ran over and hugged her, "It's great to see you! How's the Justice League, your Dad, hey, new Magic hat! Way to be stylish, I mean, you had the looks but now you are rockin'-"

"-Etum," Zatanna calmed. M'gann stopped making sound, "Sorry, I just needed to be able to think for a second. Odnu."

M'gann smiled, "Good Ol' Zatanna!"

"Wait, where did the Gyno's go?" Connor pointed out.

"We are down here, brother," the eldest one spoke in Superboy's head.

"Don't worry! I'm coming to get you!" Connor replied telepathically.

"You can't," the eldest one replied, "Not now. There is danger down here-"

"I fought Vandal Savage, Black Manta, Ra's Al Ghul... You get my point. No danger is strong enough for our Team."

"You'll see what I mean in the future."

Superboy tensed, "Fine. But I'll come back for you."

"Connor! Come on, let's go finish the mission," M'gann yelled back to Connor.

Zatanna's Apartment

"Hey! Zatanna! Are you in there?" Jaime called inside as he banged on the door, "I need your help! I know you said you can't destroy my scarab... But can you at least try?"

Bart zoomed in behind Jaime, "Come on man! Let's go... Paint balling!"

Jaime hung his head low, "You said it yourself... I'm dangerous..."

"Hey, I never said that," Bart exclaimed, "Well not directly..." He whispered to himself quickly, "Listen, we can fix this!"

"How?" Jaime asked.

"We can... Run to the future!" Bart exclaimed, "Change the timeline!"

"I thought you said you could never return-"

"I-might've-maybe-possibly-lied to hang out with you guys..." Bart muttered, "But it's time to return. It'll be good to see Neutron anyway."

Jaime shook his head, "Bart we aren't going back. We can't."

Bart hung his head low, "What about you?"

Jaime shrugged, "I don't know. But I need space. You guys need to train the newbies anyway..."
