Depression

There is a feeling in your bones
Telling you that you'll never be enough
That everyone will be better when you're gone
And you can never vocalize it because it slips away

All your friends will find someone better
Your family won't even notice
All those empty promises will be broken
You're left with only a sliver of hope

You live for others and never yourself
But secretly you know you're their good deed
They truly don't care but you act like they do
Your smiles seem so real to everyone else

It's an internal pain that you want to forget
Yet right when you're happiest it latches back on
Every word and thought seems forced
You truly don't know why you're still here

Everything is better when you're gone
Classes go smoother
People don't notice
The teachers are happier

You just cause stress and pain
It's a relief
On everyone when you're gone
Family and friends get better

You just want to disappear
You're just done
You're life is meaningless
You want to give up on life
