Chapter 1 News

Kallen's P.O.V

I tapped my wand against my leg, there was no risk of being caught because Thalia is in Canada with the hunters and she's my only sibling. I summoned my trunk from under my bed. There was just a satisfaction of using magic. I opened it to see I needed to update on my stuff if i'm going back to Hogwarts to finish my seventh year. There was a knock at the door of my cabin.

"Depulso." I said quietly shooting my trunk back under my bed. I shoved my wand under my pillow and went to answer the door.

"Hey Percy." I said smiling at the son of Poisidon.

"Hey Kallen, Chiron called a counsilers meeting." He said and I nodded. We talked quietly on the way to the big house. See since Thalia is always off with the Hunters I am in charge of Cabin 1. Once we got there was just had to wait for Drew, she's always late to the meetings. When she finally showed up everybody was twitching and angsty. 

"Now that everybody is here." Chiron started, "I have an anouncment. The gods have given us a quest." Everybody gasped. When the gods themselves gave out a quest, well to put is gentelly...... we're skrewed.

"Now everybody there is another race out there. Lady Hecate gave several of her loyal mortal followers magic a long time ago and a new race was born." NO NO NO!!! Please tell me he isn't talking about MY kind. I want my two lives completely seperate. PLEASE!

"That other race are wizards and witches." FUCK IT!!!! I thudded my head against the table and everybody stared at me.

"Kallen?" Chiron asked.

"There is no way that's true." I said praying I could stop this quest.

"It is quite true. In fact, Kallen please tell everybody about it." ....... CHIRON I HATE YOU!

"What is he talkign about Kallen?" Annabeth asked staring at me.

"Well I...... you see I..... MY MOTHER WAS A WITCH AND SO AM I" I shouted standing up and storming out, and I litterally mean storming since when I'm mad it starts thundering and lightning. I have a story, not uncommen for demi gods. My mother lived in London since she was born, she attended Hogwarts and became what's called an auror. She came to New York on buisness and fell in love with my dad Zeus, than I came along. By the time my mom realised she was pregnant she was back in London and pops was long gone. Mom's parents kicked her out, she went back to America and found Zeus and tried to make him take me. He wouldn't and she got mad, she dumped me in an orphanage here in New York, went home and told her parents that she got an abortion. She died at the hands of Voldemort. Dad told me everything and I hate both of them. How sad is it when when you hate both your parents, you only met one for the first time when you were sixteen and the other died after putting you up for adoption? I'll tell you, pretty sad. Thalia has been sympathetic towards me, whenever she's here she stays in the cabin with me instead of the hunters because she cares about me. But sometimes I just wish people wouldn't look at me with pitty.

"Kallen!" I turned to see Percy and Annabeth running up.

"Yeah?" I asked and I felt my blond and orange hair standing on end from the electricity.

"You didn't stay long enough to find out you're going on the quest." Percy said.

"It wouldn't matter if I was or wasn't. I have to go to Hogwarts to finish school anyway so you're stuck with me either way." I said. Percy looked slightly shocked but nodded.

"I'll help you guys get some stuff when we get to England." I said and headed back to my cabin. I grabbed my wand from under my pillow. Thirteen and a half inches, oak with a phenoix tail feather. I love this wand. I slipped it into my boot and pulled my trunk out. Suddenly there was a tapping on the window. I turned to see a beautiful black owl sitting there. I opened it and it held out its leg. My letter from hogwarts.
