This is really just my luck. Kids, and hundreds of them. The only kid I like is my brother, and he isn't as annoying as the rest of them.
"Look kids, I'm fine. Just tell 'Mommy and Daddy' that this girl," I point to myself. "Isn't coming."
"No cando, lady." The boy says and sends some signal to the other brats to come at me. Around 20 of them come towards me and I jump to my feet.
"This is unfair, I can't hit a kid!" I shout furiously, pushing a kid off my leg. They only come up to mid-thigh, so this might not be too bad.
"Hasn't anyone told you, life isn't fair?" He says, before everything goes black. Guess I was wrong about this not being so bad.

Jeez Alex, get a grip on yourself. You black out way to much. Peter says.
"Shut up." I moan out.
Is that any way to talk to your best friend? He asks.
"Yes." I open my eyes and see a children's room. The wallpaper is red, blue, green, and yellow in a block print. I sit up and almost sink back down; this beds really soft. Lego's litter the floor along with train tracks, there's a little blue table with two red chairs over in the corner.
My eyes skitter to the door as I see it slowly open. "Lunchtime." A cute little girl says quietly. She comes in holding a tray with a grilled cheese, cut up carrots, a cookie, and and a glass of apple juice. "If you don't finish your meal, you have 20 minutes in time out." She says this without looking at me.
"Why?" I ask, taking a sip of my juice.
She doesn't reply and stares at the ground.
"You're supposed to say thank you." A cold voice says in the doorway. I look up and there stands a very tall couple. "Manners are most important in life." She says. They step in my room menacingly and I tell the little girl thank you in fear of that they might hit me. She scurries out of the room and the three of us stand in silence.
I take a good look at them both. The lady wears a black skirt and blue button up blouse. Her short blonde hair spiked up in the back and she brushes the bangs from her eyes. The makeup she wears defines her green eyes and high cheekbones, giving her a terrifying look. Her partner wears black slacks and a blue polo. His head is bald and he has kind eyes, unlike her.
"Hello, my name is Mommy, and his name is Daddy." She introduces them. "What is your name and purpose here?"
"Umm, ah m-my name?" I stutter. I'm not comfortable giving my name out. My father taught me to trust no one, and he taught well.
"Yes yes girl, your name. And don't stutter, it's quite rude." She says sharply.
"You can't correct my rudeness, and I'm here because I'm on a mission." I cross my arms.
"And your name?" Her voice gave me the chills.
"Regina." I say without missing a beat.
"And, you're on a mission?" She questions me. "For whom may I ask?"
"That," I stand up. "Is none of your business. Now I will be leaving, thank you for keeping me here." I said sourly and start towards the door. As soon as I was almost past Mommy and Daddy, their arms block my path.
"You can't leave. Once you stay here, it's impossible to get out." They say in sync.
"She can leave if she wants to." A deep male voice growls. I look at the door and there stands a god. He's a good 6'3" and well built. He has short brown hair and crystal blue eyes. He's dressed in khakis and a purple shirt and it brings out his tan.
