Chapter 2 - Washed Ashore

Hey girls and maybe some guys!!! second chappie here tell me what you thought of the first!! I made the title "our sacrifices and our betrayal" I like it but idk it just idk....I wanted to make it "sacrifices" but someone already had a Nalu fanfic called that!!!!! Or I'll make it "Our sins and Our sacrifices" idk!!! argh!!! oh whatever ENJOY!!!

Lucy's Pov~

I felt my self be carried ashore and laid on the wet sand. Someone slammed their foot into my stomach and I coughed up water.

  "ugh" I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand. I turned my body to the side and struggled to sit up. I looked around for the person. Where did they go? I shakily stood up and examined my clothes. They were torn and soaking wet. "where are my keys?" I looked all over but found them lying in the wet sand. Thank god! I clutched them to my chest then attached them to my belt.

   Where am I? It was one of Magnolia's beaches, I remember falling in last night drunk. I looked up at the sky and it was already dark out. I was out the whole day? wow.

  I started to walk home when my head hurt "ahh!" I clutched my head in pain, when it stopped hurting I began to walk to home again.

Thirty Minuets Later~

I could see my house as I struggled to get to it. I held my arm and limped.

 I reached the door, pulled out my keys and gasped a note was attached to my door with a knife. It said "your welcome", I wonder if it's the person who pulled me out of the water. I unlocked the door and went inside. I don't have the energy to change, so I laid on my bed and passed out in seconds.

I woke up the next day in the afternoon, falling in a river drunk, and almost drowning can do that to a person. I showered to get the salt off of my body, then changed.

  I'm hungry so I'm gonna go to the guild for a bite to eat. I wonder if anyone noticed I was gone. I locked my door and headed for the guild.

Natsu's Pov~

Me and happy we're walking home along the riverside. "so Natsu do you like Lisanna?" Happy giggled.

  "what!? no she just my friend who made us a picnic!". Happy just giggled some more "a friend who likes you!" my face turned pink as my hair "n-n-no! she doesn't!". "yes she does Natsu! your just to dense to realize it besides you like Lucy anyway!".

   My head snapped toward him "Lu-Lu-Lucy?!". Happy slapped his face "man Natsu sometimes your just too dumb". I grabbed is tail "am not!" He yanked his tail back "is too!".

  I put my hands behind my head and kept walking "fine whatever.....hey speaking of which, have you seen Lucy today?". Happy looked toward me "I thought you were hanging out with her today!" Happy exclaimed. "no I was with Lisanna". "oh maybe that's why Mira thought Lucy looked so down...". I snapped my head back at Happy again "what! Lucy was sad!". We walked over the bridge connecting the streets, "didn't you tell Lucy you couldn't hang out?".

  I turned red a little "no...". Happy gasped "NATSU! HOW COULD YOU!" I turned surprised and looked at Happy with my hands held up in surrender "geez calm down Happy! I'm sure Lucy doesn't mind!". Happy looked me in the eye "ok maybe she will mind!" We kept walking "you'd better say sorry!"  I sighed "I know I know!". 

  were walking down the Main Street with few people on it. "Did you see the girl who fell in the river?" an old man looked at the younger women, "you mean the blond Mage from fairy tail?!" I immediately stopped "yea! yea! that's the one! I hear she was drunk and crying when she fell in, poor girl I hope she's alright..." the old man waved his hand "no need to worry fairy tail has some strong wizards, she'll be fine!" the young women still didn't look convinced "but....the waters are supposed to below zero around this time of the year"
