Hi guys!!!! I wanted to share some exciting news about my life with you all today. LAST THURSDAY JUNE 11 2020 I FINALLY GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL 👩🏽🎓😭✊🏾.
Was it easy? Of course not, but then again nothing worth having ever is.
It's crazy how people;including your own parents, can make your success feel invalid and like you didn't rightfully earn what you worked so hard for. I was told by my own dad that I had no right to celebrate me graduating because it wasn't really anything that I should be proud of.
"You can celebrate when you have a stable career" He told me, even though his cousins still haven't graduated High school and they're like in their 20's.
However what he told me gives me the determination to prove everyone who doubts me wrong.
Back when I was 12 when I said I wanted to write fanfics on here, my friend laughed in my face and said "yeah sure." She didn't believe that people would like my work. But thankfully she was wrong.
I want to thank you all for all of your support. You all for real saved my life. You all made me realize that I had a purpose and that great things require hard work.
You all gave me the strength to continue living when I felt that there wasn't anyone that I should I be living for anymore. Knowing that so many people would be devastated if I stopped existing gave me courage to take many challenges head on.
And I also apologize for just now being active on here again. The truth it the last 2 years were a very dark place for me.
I felt overwhelmed with my life.
I was in abusive relationship, and on top of that I was dealing with my mental health issues and with school all together.
When I finally left the relationship, I felt like I no longer had anything worth living for. Then I came back on here and I read all of your comments, and I realized that I do have people worth living for.
I love you all so so so much and I will do the best I can to keep putting out books that you all enjoy.
