The water is alive.

Once you dive in, it will immediately bare its fangs and attack.

But there is nothing to fear.

Don't resist the water.

Thrust your fingers into the surface and carve an opening.

Then you slide your body through that opening.

~Y/n's POV~

I barged in the room, ignoring all the stares I got. I scanned the room and ran to the nearest desk, next to a kid with familiar brown hair. While listening to the teacher it took me a while to notice who it was. My heart skipped a beat, then again, then again, every second really. I knew who was next to me, I had met him before! I resisted the urge to scream his name and engulf him in a hug, but I know I couldn't do it, not now at least.

I kept going, I kept pushing my body forward. The water dribbled down my face, back, arms, and legs. With every-time my head reached the surface, I took a breath and dived back in. I reached my arm out and felt my hand brush across the wet brick, I turned my body over and my legs pushed off of the bricks and I was pushed into the middle of the pool. I gasped for air, and got a little slower. The kid next to me with black hair and blue eyes picked up the pace. My arms grew tired, but with my remaining strength I thrust myself forward and felt my hand touch the wet brick. I broke through the water and gasped for breath. The kid next to me had just reached the edge after me. I pulled myself out of the water, "WHOAAAA!" A blonde kid exclaimed, I turned and saw four boys, including the boy I raced. "Your so fast! How did you do that?!" The blonde kid exclaimed again. "That was really impressive!" A more subtle boy with dirty brown hair agreed. The black haired kid stayed silent, but the kid next to him, the kid with red hair stepped up. "Yo! I'm Rin! That blonde kid is Nagisa, and over there with the brown hair is Makoto! And next to me is the kid you went up against, Haru!" The red-haired kid, or Rin introduced. I giggled, "Your name sound like girls names." "Whatever, what's your name?" Haru asked. My eyes lit up, "I'm Y/n."

I woke up from my trance, seeing that people were already leaving, I was drooling on the desk and once I realized it I jumped up and ran after Makoto, and it just got better when I saw Haru with him, walking up to the roof. I ran after them, silently though, and when they reached the top of the stairs, I accidentally toppled on top of them. "BWAHH!" Makoto exclaimed as he fell. "Ohmygosh I'm SO sorry!" I shrieked, completely mortified. I got up and on my feet before helping them up. "It's fine." Haru mumbled, before he looked up at me. His big blue eyes sparkled and a shocked look replaced his  stern face. "You-your..."
