Chapter 2: Baths and Naughty Riley

Riley struggled in Taylor's arms "Riley stop squirming please!!" Taylor groaned fighting with a toddler was hard. "Come on Riley! Into the tub" Taylor coaxed riley into the bathtub with a cookie, the bath was filled with warm bubbly water. Riley says in the water eating her cookie slowly watching Taylor with huge eyes. Taylor looked over the child's body as she gently washed her with a bath mitt and began to massage soap into her hair. Riley slowly relaxed into Taylor's hands as she was having her hair washed. After making sure riley was all clean Taylor lifted the small frame from the water and wrapped her in a huge soft towel. Riley snuggles into the towel sat on top of the toilet seat. "I have these left from when my cousins stayed, don't worry I washed them," Taylor said helping riley into some panties "But, you will have to sleep in one of my shirts and I promise I'll was your clothes okay?" the blonde cooed looking into riles bright green eyes.

Taylor's hands quickly buttoned the shirt up for riley covering her abused body, riley began to lift her hands and make the grabbing motion at Taylor again. Taylor grinned thinking the child sat in her bathroom was the cutest thing she had ever seen. But also scary... I mean she had a stranger's child in her house! The singer's heart ached when she saw the way this child had been treated. Lifting riley up she was met by huge eyes looking at her, "what's up buddy" Taylor said running her hand through Riley's damp hair. "You warm... I like you... comfy" the child muttered laying her head on Taylor's shoulder and sticking her thumb in her mouth. Taylor looked down at her smiling "you want to watch cartoons?" riley looked at Taylor with her head tilted confused. "Cawoons?" Taylor giggled. "Yes you know the TV?" Riley shook her head dumbfounded at this weird thing called cartoons. "Here ill show you" Taylor explained softly carrying riley to the sofa.

Taylor decided to turn the Cartoon network channel on and adventure time was playing. Riley stared at the screen wide eyes completely lost in the show. It was the cutest thing Taylor had seen in a while. Lifting Riley off her lap she began to walk to the kitchen. "TAYYYY NO GO!!" riley screamed reaching out for Taylor, "riley ill be right back baby, I just need to get something from the kitchen... just watch you're show baby" Taylor said softly, "NO TAY NO GO! TAY STAY" she shouted crying, "okay. Riley come with me" Taylor said searching through her kitchen drawers. "Here look riley, I got a paci for you" Taylor said holding a pink pacifier to riley, "no more sucking on your thumb, use this..." Taylor said placing it in Riley's mouth. "NOOOO" riley screamed throwing it across the kitchen.

"Riley!! NO THROWING" Taylor scolded the child walking over to the pacifier and picking it up, " someone is tired, come on bedtime" Taylor said softly stroking Riley's hair. That was it, riley was triggered. "Nooo noo!! NO WANT TO!! WANT STAY WIF YOU NOOO" riley kicked out and against Taylor's stomach screaming in full tantrum mode. "Riley please stop... Riley stop," Taylor shouted getting desperate.

Riley began pushing and hitting Taylor's chest with her tiny hands to get free. "No Tay no!! You can't make me!!" riley then broke free from Taylor's grip and ran through the door. "RILEY COME BACK!!" Taylor yelled chasing the child across the hall scooping her up and pulling her back to the apartment.

"You are in BIG trouble missy," Taylor stated sitting her on the stairs. "You can stay here for 5 minutes." She said walking away from riley. "nooo tay!!! Tay!!" riley called out desperately running after Taylor. "Nope." The blonde picked the child up and set her back on the stairs. "Stop testing me rile's just done your time out and its over. But if you lift your butt from the step again it will be worse okay?' she places riley back on the stair.

Taylor had sat in the kitchen to have a glass of water when she heard a crash. Abandoning her water she followed the noise to riley that had climbed up on the tabletop to get the TV remote. "RILEY!!" Taylor yelled picking the child up. "What did I just say?" riley looked down. "That... I be in trouble?" she said quietly.

Taylor nodded "yes I did." She stated and before riley could react she was face down on Taylor's lap. "What... Tay what you doing?" the child sounded panicked, then SMACK a slap landed on Riley's bum. "OUCHIEEE TAY TAY NOOOOOO!!" riley wailed squirming. "Stay still" Taylor said and peppered the butt across her knee with a few more smacks to get the message across.

Riley sobbed and kicked her legs so much the shirt had raised revealing a pin bottom soundly spanked. Taylor felt bad but there had to be boundaries and we don't hit or yell at adults. Taylor stood riley in front of her, "rile's?" Taylor said softly and riley just dived into Taylor's chest wrapping her arms around her neck sobbing into Taylor's neck. "w-w-wiley... s-s-sorry.... I sorry... sorry Tay. Me sorry... no more spankin's... I love you tay" Taylor froze at the child's sudden affection for her...

Taylor held the child close in her arms holding her tears in and walked up the stairs restraining the worked up child in her arms and walking into her bedroom. Setting the child on her bed Taylor lay beside her looking into her eyes. "Stop crying baby... its okay... your sleepy." Taylor said slowly and softly.

Riley gripped onto Taylor's shirt her tears slowly stopping. Taylor popped the pacifier back into Riley's mouth. Slowly the child drifted to sleep and didn't let her grip on Taylor loosen.
